This Spanish company was set up over 50 years ago with a very clear goal: to become a global land refrigerated transport company which ensures their clients receive a comprehensive quality service.
Our commitment to innovation and quality has led us to improve every day, both technologically and logistically, by establishing strategic alliances with National and European partners in order to achieve the most comprehensive national and international coverage.
Murcia is our main base, with a close relationship with fruit and vegetable sector offering solutions to our current social and technological challenges.
We have become the leading land refrigerated transport company in Spain and Europe.
With a 300,000m2 surface area (15,000m2 for a cross-docking warehouse) as well as 106 loading and unloading docks, we have now the logistical and operational capacity and flexibility required to meet each and every challenge and demand of today’s market. Our facilities are equipped with the latest information and communication systems, garages, our own petrol station with 32 petrol pumps, a laundry, rest areas for drivers, a restaurant, a playroom and a canteen.
With regards to Innovation, the company has developed strategic alliances with multiple technological partners, such as Tecnalia- a reference technological research and development centre in Europe- for the development of lines of research in logistic transport R&D projects. The company also joined the board of Fundación Cotec and Fundación Isaac Peral as another effort to improve our efficiency, services and competitiveness. The company has launched three University Chairs research programmes in the fields of transport and logistics, in collaboration with Universities.
The model of the company considers technology along the processes by equipping our fleet with the latest tracking and safety systems. The company also carries out predictive and preventive maintenance through cutting-edge temperature control devices in order to prevent any incidents with the goods being transported.
Euro VI engines in all our vehicles and our annual fleet renewal programme as well as the incorporation of gas (LNG)-fuelled lorries as an alternative transport modality, are part of our commitment with the environment and the reduction of pollutant emissions.
Quality is always a prerequisite:
- •ISO 9001:2015 Certification, which certifies a quality management system is developed and implemented so that we are at the forefront of our industry.
- ISO 14001:2015 Certification, which certifies an environmental management system is developed and implemented to reduce pollution, waste and energy consumption.
- Good Distribution Practice of medicinal products for human use (GDP) Certification.
- IFS Certification for food product transport at room temperature or controlled temperature.
The company has also implemented a hazard analysis and critical control points system (HACCP), which ensures the highest quality in transport by controlling and assessing risk points.
The company leads the CONHICAM project, “Design and validation of a hybrid electric device for lorry with semi-trailer”, with file number RTC-2017-6320-4, since 2018 being implemented successfully.
