Trentino Federation of Cooperation is looking for a non-profit organization or Research and Technological Centre or University to participate to the call “The role of consumers in changing the market through informed decision and collective actions ID: LC-SC3-EC-1-2018-2019-2020" in order to develop two/three pilot projects about the foundation of an energy community.
The School of Business, Engineering and Science at Halmstad University invites one or several experienced researchers (has a Ph.D.) of any nationality to develop a collaborative MSCA Individual Fellowship application within the European Commission’s H2020 program. Applicants may not have resided, worked, or studied in Sweden for more than 12 months in the 3 years prior to the call deadline.
Are you an actor in public transport? A transport operator, organiser or authority? Do you aim to optimise your R&D spending? Is public security and the prevention of terrorist attacks amongst your core objectives? Join us in the PREVENT project!
The aim is to present an impact solution to ensure the resilience of productive activities in isolated communities. The fundamental objective is to achieve an application for the mountainous areas of North Africa and the Middle East, where there is a very serious problem for the population due to the absence of productive activities.
The project aims to create local, distributed virtual power plants in order to limit the losses of energy from renewable sources, balance the grid, secure the energy for the end-users and bring stable and cheap green energy. It would demonstrate how to produce and use the energy locally creating the almost off-grid energy islands cooperating with Transmission System Operators (TSOs) and Distribution System Operators (DSOs).
The core technology of this research proposals other consortium members is thermal tomography and reference electrodes derived from internally networked printed sensor arrays, providing thermal and electrochemical spatial information at the cell level. Additionally, a local battery management system will be incorporated into each cell, enabling distributed control and monitoring. This project will further investigate the use of powerline communication, enabling cells to transmit and receive data through the power bus bar.
