Daniel Janeiro
Daniel Janeiro has a degree in Business Management, and a postgraduate degree in International Relations and European Studies, and is currently completing his Master's degree. He is currently the coordinator at ADRAL – Alentejo Regional Development Agency, at the Department of External Relations and Foreign Investment, and Manager of the Alentejo Incubator Network – ADRAL, which has 9 business incubators at regional level.
He has been a Project Manager and consultant at ADRAL since 2011. Since then he has developed support functions for regional development, from the general management of national and international projects of assistance and technical support to companies and entities throughout the Alentejo, with emphasis on consultancy and submission of applications by companies and entities (Portugal 2030, PDR 2020, among others). He has 12 years of experience as a project manager, in regional/national projects (Inalentejo; Alentejo 2020; QREN; Portugal 2020), cross-border (POCTEP), international (Interreg; ERASMUS+; H2020), among others.
He coordinates the Invest In Alentejo initiative, an initiative that has allowed the Alentejo Region to continue to follow trends in the use of networks to attract foreign investment, the use of information systems, the ability to build crucial instruments for decision-making and planning. It is crucial for the Region to promote in a network the composition of the necessary tools for its integrated promotion and to develop concrete actions of dialogue with investors with a view to attracting them, in the European markets and the rest of the world. This initiative has already contributed to attracting several important investments for the Alentejo Region.
Since December 2020, he has been the representative of ADRAL on the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of EURADA, as well as on the IURC network – International Urban and Regional Cooperation and ERRIN – European Regions Research and Innovation Network. He is currently also the ADRAL representative in Brussels.
