Loes Rutten
Universities of Applied Sciences Netherlands (UASNL) is the Brussels office for a network of 17 Dutch Universities of Applied Sciences, with the ambition connect their applied research more thoroughly to the European context. The 17 UAS work together to increase the profile and awareness of their applied research in Europe, and to be more active in European research and innovation partnerships. The applied research of UAS contributes to the vitality of their region, and equips students with innovative skills for a future-proof labor market. Besides UAS affinity wiht regional societal challenges, they also tackle global challenges. The UN SDG act as a strategic guideline from where specific research is being designed.
