Sebastian Hrib

I am a dynamic professional with a strong commitment to supporting R&I efforts and sustainable regional development in the North-East region of Romania.

Having over four years of hands-on experience in regional development at the North-East RDA, including my current role as Head of the Brussels Office, I have expanded my knowledge on various R&I-related topics and EU priorities, as well as foreign direct investments, adopting an assertive approach to transforming ideas into action. Moreover, my background and expertise in European economics enables me to connect regional development features with broader European strategies.

As an advisor to the General Director, I collaborated with regional and local leaders, gaining skills in public diplomacy, consultation and decision-making. My NGO work involved coordinating large events and mentoring youth, which strengthened my leadership abilities. These experiences have equipped me with skills that would allow me to bring valuable insights to ERRIN's board.

Passionate about lifelong learning, I’m eager to join any initiative as a proactive connector, focused on building trust and fostering collaboration. With a strong interest in the tools ERRIN engages with, I aim to bring fresh perspectives, ideas and proposals, grounded in the principle of "Give before get." My goal is to contribute with my expertise and enthusiasm while helping drive innovative initiatives that benefit the community and the organization.
