The Design & Creativity WG aims to raise awareness of design and creativity as tools and drivers for innovation in different sectors and across Europe. Our objectives are the following: To present challenges; especially in relation to sectors that do not yet work with design (thinking) and creativity; to showcase the importance of design & creativity through good examples and concrete cases; to create a strong and vital community among our stakeholders across Europe through a bottom-up approach; to connect designers, thinkers, business, policy and society interested in finding common solutions for different challenges and to create opportunities for the WG members to develop project proposals, share their ideas, stories and ongoing activities with the EU community.

The European Commission is organising a stakeholder workshop on the progress of Horizon Europe in the context of the mid-term review. The event will take place online on 29 June from 10:00-13:00 CEST. Participants will be invited to take the floor and share their individual experiences with Horizon Europe up until now. Widening countries are particularly encouraged to take part.
The H2020 project Be.CULTOUR is co-organising, together with other 5 EU-funded research and innovation projects, an International Conference on "Cultural Tourism Advances", which will take place in Brussels on the 27-28 June 2023.
ERRIN's Spring Annual General Meeting will take place on 22 June from 14:30-17:45 CEST, followed by networking reception. This year the event will be held in-person, with online streaming available for members who aren’t based in Brussels.
A two-day NEB in Regions and Cities event will take place on 21 and 22 June in Brussels. The event will serve as a forum for learning and exchange among people, institutions, municipalities, and regions who are implementing or have an interest in developing NEB projects on the ground.

Slash -Transition also offers to rethink the role of music, and then, musicians in the cities and districts in transition. We are looking for a school/ university partner who has the relevance, expertise and the knowledge to engage in a project on VR journey - applying VR technology to visit different climate hotspots around the World in VR. Hereby to contribute to the STEM related interest in your school/university as part of the education under Erasmus+ KA2 small-scale project. The partner must have experiences in creating creative ed-tec with an emotional side to it, eg learning with the whole body. They must be progressive based preferably in the Nordic countries. Finland is highest priority, Sweden, Norway or perhaps Germany. Secondarily other locations like Barcelona, Netherlands, etc.
