Design & Creativity
The Design & Creativity WG aims to raise awareness of design and creativity as tools and drivers for innovation in different sectors and across Europe. Our objectives are the following: To present challenges; especially in relation to sectors that do not yet work with design (thinking) and creativity; to showcase the importance of design & creativity through good examples and concrete cases; to create a strong and vital community among our stakeholders across Europe through a bottom-up approach; to connect designers, thinkers, business, policy and society interested in finding common solutions for different challenges and to create opportunities for the WG members to develop project proposals, share their ideas, stories and ongoing activities with the EU community.

European Research and Innovation Days (R&I Days) 2024
The European Commission’s annual flagship research and innovation event will take place on 20 and 21 March 2024, both physically in Brussels and online. The R&I Days 2024 will give you the opportunity to debate how we can make Europe more sustainable and competitive and will celebrate the outcomes and achievements in research and innovation since the launch of the first R&I Framework Programme over 40 years ago.

The 2024 edition of the ENCC - European Network of Cultural Centres - mentoring programme on EU project writing, will take place in Valletta, Malta, hosted by our member Spazju Kreattiv. A call for participants is now open until 15 May.

In view of the upcoming departure of ERRIN's current Director of projects, Ryan Titley, ERRIN is looking for a replacement to start in September 2024. The new colleague will work closely with the ERRIN Director on strategic planning, and lead the implementation and development of ERRIN's current and future project portfolio. Applications are open until 20 May at 17.00 CEST.

DG RTD has recently released a thematic report titled "Overview of Public Engagement in Research & Innovation", which provides an introductory overview of Public Engagement in Research and Innovation in Europe. "VeneTo Stars" challenge 2024
The second edition of the "Veneto Stars" challenge has been launched, promoted by Veneto Region - Veneto Digital Agenda. Teams of young Europeans aged between 18 and 25 are asked to submit ideas to favour the protection, conservation, monitoring, or valorisation of the Veneto Region's UNESCO sites and cultural heritage. Participants can submit their ideas until 15 April 2024.

The CrAFt Cookbook: A Recipe for Climate-Positive Cities and Communities
This publication is CrAFt's contribution towards climate-positive cities and communities —less greenhouse gas emissions, better quality, for more people— with local collaboration at the core.
