Innovation & Investment
The Innovation & Investment Working Group aims to monitor the main initiatives put in place by the European institutions under the priority ‘an economy that works for the people’ and explicitly target SMEs. The Working Group monitors industrial and cluster policy developments and promotes instruments that support innovative financing (e.g., cascade funding financial instruments).

European Innovation Ecosystems - Online Info Session
On 11 June 2024 from 10:00-12:30, EISMEA is organising an informative webinar to learn more about the following calls under Horizon Europe: Expanding Academia-Enterprise Collaborations, and Mutual learning and support scheme for national and regional innovation programmes. EU's Knowledge Ecosystems: A Regional Stakeholder Survey
The ERA FABRIC project, which aims to define the ERA Hubs concept across Europe, launched a survey for regional stakeholders to identify the most recurrent characteristics and parameters of excellence of European knowledge ecosystems. ERA Hubs concept remains of particular interest for ERRIN. The survey will be open until 10 March 2024.

HealthChain project is looking for Mirror Regions
HealthChain is looking for 5 Mirror Regions that could mobilise other regional partners needed for the implementation of HealthChain methodology. These organisations will become full partner of the HealthChain Consortium, receiving tailored training and funding. Mirror Regions must be linked with a healthcare organisation who can propose an unmet need that requires an innovative solution and is available to co-create a solution with an SME.
