ERRIN's second Skills for Resilience Talk

ERRIN's second Skills for Resilience Talk

During the first ERRIN Skills for Resilience talk held on 13 May, we learnt about many interesting initiatives of ERRIN members. To follow up on, we invite ERRIN members and their stakeholders to continue the conversation during the second Skills for Resilience Talk, taking place on Thursday 25 June from 10:00-11:00 CEST. This short online session offers a space for further exchange about skills development initiatives aiming at increasing regional capacities to anticipate and address risks linked to climate change, security, defence and civic and territorial preparedness in general.

The 25 June session aims to be interactive and will continue the conversation about the regional capacity building initiatives and explore possible collaboration opportunities among ERRIN members. We invite participants to bring their regional practices of skilling, reskilling and upskilling for resilience to the conversation. We welcome a variety of contributions from local and regional administrations, Education & Training providers, businesses and civil society that focus on building resilience capacities and capabilities at local and regional level. We also encourage participants to share any skills gaps they identified in this field, and identify barriers that are hindering skills investments in this field.

Agenda and registration

You can find the agenda attached (please note you must be logged in with your ERRIN account). ERRIN members can register here.

The learnings will serve as a basis for an exchange with cabinet of the Executive Vice-President for Skills Roxana Mînzatu about skills development needs of regions in view of the next MFF (Erasmus+, European Competitiveness Fund and the National Regional Partnership Plans), which the SEFS Working Groups plans to organise in the second half of this year.
