The Central Denmark EU Office (CDEU) represents the 19 municipalities of the Central Denmark region as well as the Central Denmark regional government, Aarhus University and VIA University College. Central Denmark region comprises the central part of Jutland from coast to coast and is home to Aarhus, the second largest city in Denmark and European Capital of Culture 2017. Central Denmark is a very diverse region and has a special focus on innovation, healthcare, education, research, tourism, energy, environment and culture. The Central Denmark EU Office has teams and advisors dedicated to each of these areas.

ERRIN welcomes Sarah English as the new Network Chair

Yesterday, the ERRIN Management Board selected Sarah English (Scotland Europa) as the new network Chair. She has been a member of the ERRIN Management Board since 2014 and served as a Vice-Chair for the last three years. The Troika is now composed of Sarah English, Lars Holte Nielsen and Hortense Lutz-Hermellin who will continue to collaborate in their efforts to support the Board and secretariat in taking the network forward.

Partner search on H2020 climate resilience topics from VIA University College, Denmark

VIA University has experience in European projects such as Horizon 2020, Interreg and LIFE. The research center for Built Environment, Energy, Water and Climate at VIA University has expertise in enhanced nature-based urban treatment solutions with a focus on innovative climate adaption solutions, remediation solutions, green renewable energy solutions and to develop methodologies and guidance for the design and implementation of urban enhanced natural treatment systems in cities.

Expression of Interest – Skive Municipality, Central Denmark

Skive Municipality would like to participate in an EU funded project dealing with Smart Mobility Services, i.e. How to reduce CO2 emissions from the transport sector, reduce congestions, while - at the same time - keeping a high service level and flexibility for the individual commuter.
