13 cities from ERRIN member regions selected as NetZeroCities Twin Cities
The NetZeroCities project, in which ERRIN is a partner, has through its Twinning Programme matched 40 Twin Cities from across Europe with the 53 Pilot Cities that were selected earlier this year. ERRIN is pleased to see that 13 of the selected Twin Cities come from ERRIN member regions.

100 ERRIN member cities and regions become signatories of the EU Mission for Adaptation to Climate Change Charter
During the recent European Research and Innovation Days, the European Commission announced the 2nd wave of signatories to the EU Mission for Adaptation to Climate Change Charter, with a further 100 regions and local authorities signing. Of the now 215 signatories, a staggering 100 are associated with ERRIN member cities and regions.

Empowered youth, better future in EU capital cities and regions
As 2022 is the European Year of Youth, the Capital Cities and Regions Network (CCRN), including the City of Riga, is organising a workshop focused on empowering European youth in the frame of the upcoming European Week of Regions and Cities. The workshop will take place on 10 October in Brussels and online.

ICT WG meeting: Regional digital strategies
In this meeting, the ICT Working Group invites all ERRIN members and regional stakeholders to discuss good practices and challenges of regional digital strategies. European Commission experts will outline European digital policy priorities from a regional perspective, which will be followed by presentations of inspiring regional examples from ERRIN’s members.
