The European Commission has launched its call for Expression of Interest for the Horizon Europe Mission on Climate-neutral and Smart Cities.
The Cities Mission aims to deliver at least 100 climate-neutral and smart cities in Europe by 2030, while ensuring these cities act as experimentation and innovation hubs to support all European cities becoming climate-neutral by 2050.
The call offers ambitious European cities the opportunity to work together to tackle this challenge, with the support from the NetZeroCities project, in which ERRIN is a partner.
Applications are open until 31 January 2022 at 17:00 CET. Learn more and apply here - a copy of the call is also available in the attached PDF. More information is also available here.
As well as through the NetZeroCities project, ERRIN will support cities involved in the Mission through the MOSAIC project, which recently closed its call for cities looking for support with citizen engagement activities, central to the Climate City Contracts in the Mission.
On 10 and 15 December at 14:00, the European Commission will host parts 2 and 3 of its information sessions on the call, register here.
