The European Commission recently published the list of eligible cities that applied to the first call for cities in the Mission on Climate Neutral and Smart Cities. After 377 cities applied, 362 have now been found to be eligible. Only cities that gave permission to be publicly named are included on this list. We are pleased to see a number of ERRIN members included on this list, including those involved in ERRIN's project MOSAIC. 

The full list can be found via the latest newsletter from the Commission on the status of the Mission. Later in the spring, the first cities to be selected in the frame of the Mission are expected to be announced. Once selected cities will engage with the Mission platform NetZeroCities, where ERRIN is working on the development of the Climate City Contracts process.
