Sustainable extractives for the EU

ERRIN continues to investigate the relationship between European Raw Materials policy and the overarching topic of the European Green Deal. Securing the sustainable supply of metals and minerals is of paramount importance to meet Europe’s energy and climate targets by 2030.

ERRIN is a partner in the Horizon 2020 project MIREU, a network of mining and metallurgy regions in Europe. The project is now coming to close and ERRIN is responsible for ensuring its continuation through the setting up of a task force that will extend the networking of Europe's mining and metallurgy regions beyond the project's lifetime.
