Design & Creativity
The Design & Creativity WG aims to raise awareness of design and creativity as tools and drivers for innovation in different sectors and across Europe. Our objectives are the following: To present challenges; especially in relation to sectors that do not yet work with design (thinking) and creativity; to showcase the importance of design & creativity through good examples and concrete cases; to create a strong and vital community among our stakeholders across Europe through a bottom-up approach; to connect designers, thinkers, business, policy and society interested in finding common solutions for different challenges and to create opportunities for the WG members to develop project proposals, share their ideas, stories and ongoing activities with the EU community.

Innovative housing fairs based on the three pillars of New European Bauhaus
The innovation cluster Smart Housing Småland is forming a housing fair apparatus based on innovation and the pillars of New European Bauhaus: Together, Beautiful, Sustainable. Danish VR company looking for partners to develop online teaching experience focusing on biodiversity challenges
A Danish film company is looking for partners to join them in their Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnership project, focussing on the development of a VR educational experience. The material will include an educational segment and an interative VR challenge, where students will apply their knowledge to ensure the species' survival.
Horizon Europe partner search - NEB
A consortium of 7 partners gathering four historic pilot sites in Latvia, Lithuania and France, coordinated by the University of Latvia, are looking for further partners for the call HORIZON-CL2-2024-HERITAGE-01-01.

Based on the principles of peer learning, replicability of practices and co-creation methodology, this webinar series aims to encourage a comprehensive understanding of circular and sustainable cultural tourism practices. Call for European Heritage Days Stories 2023 – deadline 28 February
With the European Heritage Stories, communities across the continent are invited to share their special stories about Europe’s cultural heritage. All of the stories that meet the eligibility criteria will be published as European Heritage Days Stories, promoted at European level, and receive a grant of up to €10,000. The deadline for applications is 28 February 2023.

Open calls for Town Twinning and Networks of Towns
Two calls, one on Town Twinning and another on Networks of Towns, will open later this year. There will be an info day for each, om June and March respectively. Both calls aim to promote exchanges between citizens of different countries, to give them practical experience of the wealth and diversity of the common heritage of the Union and to make them aware that these constitute the foundation for a common future.

Open Call: New European Bauhaus Booster 2.0 – deadline 13 March
On 16 January, the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) published a call to support and help to foster the New European Bauhaus transformations. It targets European startups or scale-ups developing innovative solutions with deliberate consideration given to the NEB values. Successful applicants will be welcomed in the EIT Community NEB acceleration program that will be tailored to each company. The deadline for application is 13 March.

Inspiring Innovation through creative connections around Europe - WORTH project 2nd call for proposals
WORTH is the Partnership Project funded by the European Commission under COSME where designers, SMEs, manufacturers, and tech providers work together to develop innovative, design-oriented business ideas. WORTH Project has opened the second call for proposals until 15 February, 2023.
