Design & Creativity
The Design & Creativity WG aims to raise awareness of design and creativity as tools and drivers for innovation in different sectors and across Europe. Our objectives are the following: To present challenges; especially in relation to sectors that do not yet work with design (thinking) and creativity; to showcase the importance of design & creativity through good examples and concrete cases; to create a strong and vital community among our stakeholders across Europe through a bottom-up approach; to connect designers, thinkers, business, policy and society interested in finding common solutions for different challenges and to create opportunities for the WG members to develop project proposals, share their ideas, stories and ongoing activities with the EU community.

Innovative housing fairs based on the three pillars of New European Bauhaus
The innovation cluster Smart Housing Småland is forming a housing fair apparatus based on innovation and the pillars of New European Bauhaus: Together, Beautiful, Sustainable. Rural areas and smaller towns are especially interesting. Region Kronoberg and Växjö municipality describe their views, challenges, and possibilities when setting up the first planned housing fair BY2030.

We are happy to invite you to the next Creative Coffee meeting organised by the Design & Creativity WG meeting on 15 December at 14:30. This online meeting will be a chance to get together again and exchange on the main topics of interest for the moment but also for the next year.
Brussels Talks: New European Bauhaus
The Polish National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR) Office in Brussels / Business and Science Poland is organising a webinar on the New European Bauhaus in the framework of its „Brussels Talks” series. The guest of the event will be Michela Magas, an innovation catalyst and a member of the New European Bauhaus high-level roundtable at the European Commission.

GazteFilm Fest- PARTNER SEARCH
GazteFilm Fest is a unique festival made for and by the children, formed by a collaboration of two entities: Zinhezba and Kalakalab. ERRIN joins the NEB Alliance as a founding member
On 26 February 2024, the New European Bauhaus Alliance introduced its Manifesto in Amsterdam. This Manifesto aims to help society move towards strong, climate-positive cities and communities. It wants to bring together people from different fields like engineering, economics, facility management, marine biology, industry, artificial intelligence, and others.
Marching towards FP10 – ERRIN activity update
As we enter March and approach the European R&I Days, several ERRIN activities planned for 2024 with a link to FP10 have already taken place, and more are on their way. The CrAFt Cookbook: A Recipe for Climate-Positive Cities and Communities
This publication is CrAFt's contribution towards climate-positive cities and communities —less greenhouse gas emissions, better quality, for more people— with local collaboration at the core. The CrAFt Cookbook outlines seven stages for urban transformation inspired by the New European Bauhaus, covering everything from conceptualisation to execution, documentation, and replication. Each stage highlights key principles and joint strategies, with real-life examples from CrAFt Cities, to inspire any city’s initiatives.

We are looking for a school/ university partner who has the relevance, expertise and the knowledge to engage in a project on VR journey - applying VR technology to visit different climate hotspots around the World in VR. Hereby to contribute to the STEM related interest in your school/university as part of the education under Erasmus+ KA2 small-scale project.
