Design & Creativity
The Design & Creativity WG aims to raise awareness of design and creativity as tools and drivers for innovation in different sectors and across Europe. Our objectives are the following: To present challenges; especially in relation to sectors that do not yet work with design (thinking) and creativity; to showcase the importance of design & creativity through good examples and concrete cases; to create a strong and vital community among our stakeholders across Europe through a bottom-up approach; to connect designers, thinkers, business, policy and society interested in finding common solutions for different challenges and to create opportunities for the WG members to develop project proposals, share their ideas, stories and ongoing activities with the EU community.

Creative Europe Launch Conference
This high-level conference will feature speakers from all over Europe – cultural agents, thinkers, politicians and governmental decision-makers. Its aim is to get Europe behind the new Creative Europe Programme and foster broad debate on the main strategic innovations and new priorities for the 2021-2027 cycle, highlighting the links with other European Union funds and the relationships with current societal issues.
Dance Digital - Baden-Wurttemberg and South Wales connect
DANCE DIGITAL is the kick-off event of a new partnership between Clwstwr, a programme to stimulate R&D and innovation in the South Wales media sector, and MFG Baden-Wurttemberg, an institution to promote film culture, the film industry and cultural and creative industries in the South West of Germany.

Be.CULTOUR Project wraps up a successful journey on circular cultural tourism
In a dynamic two-day event held on 5 – 6 May in Naples, Be.CULTOUR, project in which ERRIN is a partner, successfully hosted its final event 'Beyond Cultural Tourism: Beautiful, Circular, Human'. The results of the project, the tools developed, and the materials and guides produced to inspire and accompany any other regions interested in boosting their sustainability and entrepreneurship of local cultural tourism are available on the Be.CULTOUR website.

The European Commission has opened a public consultation to collect feedback from everyone, in addition to the organisations and individuals directly involved in or benefiting from the Creative Europe programme.
Call for Applications for IN SITU Summer School
Applications are now open to join IN SITU Summer School, “Place-based creative solutions for cultivating caring and sustainable communities" (20-24 September 2024), and the IN SITU Conference "Horizons of Sustainability: The power of creative innovation for transformation of rural and non-urban futures" (25-27 September 2024), both held in the beautiful island of Zlarin, Croatia.
ERRIN two-page input on FP10 for the attention of the Expert Group
As the work towards the next EU Framework Programme for R&I (FP10) continues, ERRIN is pleased to share its two-page input for the attention of the Expert Group on the interim evaluation of Horizon Europe. The document is a concise compilation of the reflections on FP10 done at ERRIN so far, highlighting topics of key importance. Work on a series of broader input papers is underway.
PROSPERO – Culture and Creativity driving prosperous development
the PROSPERO proposal seeks to put CCIs at the centre of sustainable and dynamic economic development, thus boosting our socio-economic and environmental well-being. PROSPERO uses interregional exchange and learning to consider how megatrends (digitalisation, climate action, social resilience) are reflected in the CCI sector across Europe and how public policy can ensure that we benefit from these megatrends.

H2020 Proposal for Smart Windows Developpers and/or Adhesive Industry
The project will develop a proof of concept, to show the technical and financial viability of a plug&play system composed of components and intelligent modules for interior renovation, which currently does not exist in the market. Designscapes open call for pilot proposals
The second round of the DESIGNSCAPES Open Call is up and running! Anybody who is willing to solve urbanization related challenges is welcome to apply for the DESIGNSCAPES call, to which both existing and completely new ideas and solutions may be entered. The deadline for applications for Design-enabled Innovation prototypes has been postpopned for the end of July.
