Scoping The Horizon Workshop

A two-day strategic planning and proposal workshop at MetroLab will take place in Brussels in December. The workshop hopes particpants will share the burden of consortium forming and proposal preparation, allowing them to work collaborativley across different calls. Specifically the workshop will address forthcoming calls of common interest, mainly under Science with and for Society (SwafS), Societal Challenge 6 and ICT, though you are more than welcome to discuss other calls.  Please register at this link by 6 December 2019. 

Northern Netherlands in Transition Working Conference

The decision by the Dutch government to stop extracting natural gas from the Groningen gas field will have major economic implications for the Northern Netherlands. To tackle these challenges, the four largest Northern cities have started a trajectory with theJoint Research Centre of the European Commission (JRC). Digital Innovation Hub Enhanced- Learning Programme (DIHELP)

The European Commission has launched the Digital Innovation Hub Enhanced Learning Programme (DIHELP). DIHELP will support 30 Digital Innovation Hubs to develop and/or scale-up their activities for 9 months through a coaching and mentoring programme. This call for Expression of Interest has been launched on the 28 November 2018 and will be open until 16 January 2019 (17:00 CET). New DIHs as well as established DIHs can apply to be a part of the programme. The European Commission launches the European Digital Skills Awards 2018

The European Commission wants to put the spotlight on projects which contribute to the development of digital skills in Europe. The Awards will be presented by Mariya Gabriel, European Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society on 6 December 2018.
