NEB Junction brings together public authorities, researchers, creatives and citizens to make knowledge on sustainable transformation more accessible and actionable. Through an interactive digital platform and multi-stakeholder engagement, it collects, curates and shares insights as ‘Knowledge Gems.’ By aligning cultural, social, environmental and economic perspectives, the project supports better decision-making and strengthens the New European Bauhaus community across Europe. It aims to co-create a shared vision for sustainable places that is inclusive, attractive and grounded in local realities.
The project will run from 2025 to 2027.
The project gathers knowledge from diverse stakeholders using co-creation activities such as mapping, learning journeys, stakeholder assemblies and creative engagement. This knowledge is synthesised into accessible formats and made available via an AI-supported platform. NEB Junction also includes a Monitoring System that connects cultural and creative perspectives with environmental and social data, helping stakeholders understand and promote sustainable solutions. The project will deliver concrete tools, gap analysis, insights and guidance to shape long-term transformations in line with the New European Bauhaus vision.
ERRIN leads the project’s work on learnings from and for public administrations, the construction sector and local communities that typically do not participate in New European Bauhaus. It also contributes to stakeholder engagement and knowledge analysis. Bringing its network of regional authorities with NEB-minded stakeholders, ERRIN will bridge the gap between EU institutions and R&I stakeholders on the ground.
With its New European Bauhaus & Creativity Working Group, ERRIN has been following the EU level developments of the initiative. The NEB Junction project will go along with ERRIN’s objective to develop members’ understanding of the NEB initiative and their capacity to maximise their engagement with it. By bridging local knowledge with EU-level frameworks, the project offers concrete opportunities for ERRIN members to influence the New European Bauhaus initiative, share regional best practices and access tools for cross-sectoral collaboration.
Last chance to take part in the R&I Survey on the NEB Facility! ERRIN, as part of NEB Junction, has launched a survey to identify Research & Innovation gaps, implementation barriers and future priorities for the R&I component of the NEB Facility, as well as how it connects to the Roll-out component. The survey is especially keen to hear from regional and local public authorities, as the inputs will directly feed into recommendations for shaping the future NEB Facility. The survey is open until 16 October.
The NEB Junction, in which ERRIN is a partner, is inviting organisations and individuals interested in the New European Bauhaus (NEB) to take part in its 2nd Stakeholder Assembly, taking place online in October and November 2026. The Assembly will bring together members of the wider NEB community, as well as people who are new to the initiative, to discuss current challenges, needs and priorities for the future of the New European Bauhaus. No previous experience with the NEB is required.
ERRIN’s revised Annual Plans for 2026 are now available, outlining the upcoming activities, priorities and opportunities for engagement across ERRIN’s Working Groups for the remainder of the year. Each year, ERRIN’s member-led Working Groups develop Annual Plans that set out their strategic priorities, planned activities and key objectives. Shaped by members’ feedback and expertise, these plans ensure that ERRIN’s work remains closely connected to the needs and priorities of its regional and local innovation ecosystems.
