Design & Creativity
The Design & Creativity WG aims to raise awareness of design and creativity as tools and drivers for innovation in different sectors and across Europe. Our objectives are the following: To present challenges; especially in relation to sectors that do not yet work with design (thinking) and creativity; to showcase the importance of design & creativity through good examples and concrete cases; to create a strong and vital community among our stakeholders across Europe through a bottom-up approach; to connect designers, thinkers, business, policy and society interested in finding common solutions for different challenges and to create opportunities for the WG members to develop project proposals, share their ideas, stories and ongoing activities with the EU community.

GazteFilm Fest- PARTNER SEARCH
GazteFilm Fest is a unique festival made for and by the children, formed by a collaboration of two entities: Zinhezba and Kalakalab. On 26 February 2024, the New European Bauhaus Alliance introduced its Manifesto in Amsterdam. This Manifesto aims to help society move towards strong, climate-positive cities and communities. It wants to bring together people from different fields like engineering, economics, facility management, marine biology, industry, artificial intelligence, and others.

The CrAFt Cookbook: A Recipe for Climate-Positive Cities and Communities
This publication is CrAFt's contribution towards climate-positive cities and communities —less greenhouse gas emissions, better quality, for more people— with local collaboration at the core. The CrAFt Cookbook outlines seven stages for urban transformation inspired by the New European Bauhaus, covering everything from conceptualisation to execution, documentation, and replication. Each stage highlights key principles and joint strategies, with real-life examples from CrAFt Cities, to inspire any city’s initiatives.

Regional Innovation Valleys calls for proposals launched!

On 15 May, the European Commission's DG RTD launched a call for applications for the Commission Expert Group on the Interim Evaluation of Horizon Europe. Invitation to the JRC online policymaking trainings: June/July 2023
The JRC is happy to invite ERRIN members, based in Brussels and in the regional offices, to a pilot run of an online training course for policymakers on working with evidence. This training course is being developed as part of the Science meets Regions project and aims to equip policy administrators with the skills to deal with (scientific) evidence in their work.

Interreg EUROPE - Search for Partners from Finland, Sweden, Norway for project on spaces for creativity and culture for youth
Puglia are searching for partners from Finland, Sweden and Norway for an INTERREG Europe call. The project proposal aims to build knowledge and to enhance public policies related to hybrid spaces for young people dedicated to creativity, culture and innovation.
