Design & Creativity
The Design & Creativity WG aims to raise awareness of design and creativity as tools and drivers for innovation in different sectors and across Europe. Our objectives are the following: To present challenges; especially in relation to sectors that do not yet work with design (thinking) and creativity; to showcase the importance of design & creativity through good examples and concrete cases; to create a strong and vital community among our stakeholders across Europe through a bottom-up approach; to connect designers, thinkers, business, policy and society interested in finding common solutions for different challenges and to create opportunities for the WG members to develop project proposals, share their ideas, stories and ongoing activities with the EU community.

Give new generations power, freedom and safety to express themselves
World Expression Forum (WEXFO) is hosting a discussion about initiatives to strengthen youth’s participation in democracy on 23 February between 09:30-13:00. Beginning with a presentation of the EU's support of freedom of expression, democracy and human rights, as well as EU project opportunities, and continuing with an introduction to World Expression Forum and our activities, with a particular focus on our project Youth’s participation in Society. The session will end with a networking lunch from 12:00.
SEFS WG Meeting: Kicking off the European Year of Skills in the ERRIN Network: State of play of the Pact for Skills and its regional dimension
This first SEFS WG meeting will kick off the European Year of Skills in the ERRIN network and is open to members of all Working Groups. ERRIN members will have an in-depth look at the Pact for Skills and we will learn about the state of play of this first flagship of the new European Skills Agenda. We will also discuss with the European Commission the regional dimension of the Pact for Skills, the Regional Skills Partnerships and showcase examples from the Lombardy Region and the European Chemical Regions Network.

Cultural Heritage & Tourism WG Meeting - Labels for Cultural Heritage and Tourism
The Cultural Heritage & Tourism WG invites its members to a meeting, on 15 February from 14:15-16:00, with Gabrielle Bernoville and Maria Castillo (DG EAC- Education, Youth, Sport and Culture/ Unit D2 Creative Europe) to learn more about available EU labels in the sector and discuss experiences and opportunities for potential applications in regional Research and Innovation.
NEB Stewardship Lab Launch Event
Metropolia University of Applied Sciences (Finland), together with other European coordinators, welcomes you to the online launch event of the New European Bauhaus Stewardship Lab on 7 February between 14:00-15:30. Call to join the Commission Expert Group on the Interim Evaluation of Horizon Europe
On 15 May, the European Commission's DG RTD launched a call for applications for the Commission Expert Group on the Interim Evaluation of Horizon Europe. The group shall gather 15 highly experienced members with the aim to provide the Commission with strategic recommendations to feed into the design of the next Framework Programme 2028-2034.

Puglia are searching for partners from Finland, Sweden and Norway for an INTERREG Europe call. The project proposal aims to build knowledge and to enhance public policies related to hybrid spaces for young people dedicated to creativity, culture and innovation.
Cultural Heritage in Action concludes with valuable outcomes for cities and regions
The Creative Europe peer-learning scheme for cities and regions on cultural heritage, implemented by Eurocities, KEA, ERRIN, Europa Nostra, and the Architects Council of Europe presents now a digital toolbox, a catalogue of good practices and a thematic analysis as its outcomes.

Save the date for ERRIN’s 2023 Spring Annual General Meeting (AGM), which will take place on 22 June from 14:30-18:00 CET, followed by a networking reception. We are happy to announce that this year the event will be held in person with online streaming available, and will be hosted at Scotland Europa Office in Brussels.

Partner Search Creative Europe - Young Europeans in Utopia
The University of Angers is actively seeking for partners for a medium-scale cooperation Creative Europe project. The aim of this project is to involve young Europeans to create and co-produce new ideas of projected utopia. Through cultural and social diversity of historical or actual concrete utopias in Europe, the generation of new ideas will allow/induce new practices between young Europeans in term of cooperation, exchanges and experimentations. The productions will be valued in transnational immersive and inclusive digital supports, disseminated and promoted, in order to become cultural and creative levers to “make in another way”/ “make otherwise” and innovate in the Europe of tomorrow.
