Energy & Climate Change
The main objective of the Energy & Climate Change Working Group is to act as a platform to discuss and share information on energy-related policies and funding programmes, especially looking at the Green Deal and REPowerEU, the Green Industrial Plan, the Hydrogen Valleys, the energy storage and batteries (with reference to S3 Partnership on batteries) and Horizon Europe.
The priority areas also feature climate change issues (such as climate adaptation), nature-based solutions and natural resources. The WG is set to explore links and synergies with other areas in which energy and climate change play central role and cooperate with other ERRIN Working Groups, namely the Transport, Smart Cities, SEFS and S3 Working Groups, as well as the ERRIN Task Forces on climate adaptation and on the New European Bauhaus.

I-HEROS Webinar : Unlocking energy renovation potential: Launching local One-Stop-Shops for efficient residential renovation policies
As part of the I-HEROS project, this webinar will reflect on the revised Energy Performance of Buildings Directive, and present the future challenges for urban renovation policies. More specifically, we will reflect on how these services can be expanded and replicated and what key conditions are needed to make them sustainable in the long term.
Regulatory sandboxes in the energy sector
The Energy and Climate Change Working Group is organising its upcoming meeting on regulatory sandboxes in the energy sector on Tuesday 12 December from 14:00 to 15:30 CET. The meeting will take place at ERRIN's office (Rue Luxembourg 3, 1000 Brussels) and will be accessible online for non-Brussels participants.
Available support to regions in EU Mission Adaptation
To support regions and communities in achieving the ambition of the EU Mission Adaptation to Climate Change, the EU has funded several projects to provide support services to Charter signatories and beyond in the different steps of the journey. This meeting invites three projects that provide support to regions and communities to present the support services.

Call to join the Commission Expert Group on the Interim Evaluation of Horizon Europe
On 15 May, the European Commission's DG RTD launched a call for applications for the Commission Expert Group on the Interim Evaluation of Horizon Europe.
