Health
ERRIN’s Health Working Group (WG) supports members with early intelligence and regular updates about EU-level health policy-related issues, regulations, EU programmes and their funding opportunities. Creating opportunities for interregional cooperation in the Health area is one of the WG’s main objectives. The WG is also a vehicle for networking, profile raising and promoting good practices and projects among health stakeholders in the ERRIN regions.

Policy WG meeting: Regional Innovation Valleys call under Horizon Europe – dealing with co-funding
In the frame of ERRIN’s focus on the Regional Innovation Valleys call under Horizon Europe (EIE RIV call), the requirement of 50% co-funding emerges as one of the most challenging aspects of the call for prospective applicant regions. The online Policy WG meeting on 29 June aims to discuss this urgent issue to further support network members in applying to the EIE RIV call by 17 October.
Stakeholder workshop on the progress of Horizon Europe
The European Commission is organising a stakeholder workshop on the progress of Horizon Europe in the context of the mid-term review. The event will take place online on 29 June from 10:00-13:00 CEST. Participants will be invited to take the floor and share their individual experiences with Horizon Europe up until now. Widening countries are particularly encouraged to take part.
ERRIN Spring AGM 2023
ERRIN's Spring Annual General Meeting will take place on 22 June from 14:30-17:45 CEST, followed by networking reception. This year the event will be held in-person, with online streaming available for members who aren’t based in Brussels.
International Adolescent Organised Leisure Symposia
Cardiff Metropolitan University is organising an International Symposium on Adolescent Organised Leisure on 22 June in Cardiff.
EU policies and rotary support in the development of sustainable technology in service of health
This event will focus on an innovative model of the biomolecular laboratory of Calcinate (Bergamo). The extraordinary performance achieved by this laboratory, coupled with the extreme flexibility to deal with the wide set of virus or genetic based diseases, the reduced need of sanitary staff and the low operating costs, make it one of the few positive legacies of the recent pandemic for today's and tomorrow's healthcare systems. The event will take place on 20 June from 18:00-20:00 at Regione Lombardia offices, Brussels.
Synergies across the EU funding programmes managed by the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA)
On 20 June 2023, the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA) is organising a hybrid event on Synergies across the EU Funding Programmes managed by the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA) in collaboration with the networks of Horizon Europe National Contact Points for Cluster 1, and Cluster 4 and the network of the EU4Health National Focal Points. This event will take place at the Italian National Institute of Health in Rome and online.

Partner search for Erasmus+ partnership on children living with disabilities
General Directorate of Social Assistance and Child Protection (Bacau/Romania) is looking for a partner to form a consortium with in order to apply for the Small Scale Partnership in Youth under Erasmus+. The project will include exchanges of experience between specialists from DGASPC Bacau and a more advanced partner to learn from international experts in the field of developing daily living skills for children with disabilities.
Governance structures to implement the EU Missions: check the new Mission Data Platform
A new Mission Data Platform has recently been launched by TRAMI, the EU-funded project focusing on transnational cooperation on the Mission-approach and effective implementation of the EU Missions. This tool supports and links with ERRIN's work on multi-level governance in the Cities Mission within the NetZeroCities project.
Aix-Marseille University looking for a partner specialised in virology under HORIZON-HLTH-2024-DISEASE-08-20
The project aims at developing biomolecules targeting the entry step of arboviruses, through an integrated research approach including virology, molecular virology, protein engineering, structural study (Xtallography and EM), in vitro screening and in vivo validation.
ERRIN welcomes new network Chairs
The ERRIN Management Board has appointed three co-chairs to the network. The three postholders will work together as a troika to guide the network in a collaborative manner in the period of 2024-2025.

ERRIN and the TRAMI project are organising a Mutual Learning Event aiming to explore synergies between European Partnerships and EU Missions. The event will take place on Wednesday 7 February from 9:00 to 12:00 (CET) at the NCBR Brussels Office, Rue Belliard 40, Brussels.
Odense University Hospital search for Intereg call partners for Fair Access to Digital Health Communication
The research and innovation unit CIMT (Centre for Innovative Medical Technology) at Odense University Hospital in the Region of Southern Denmark is in search of an opportunity to join forces in a consortium to tackle the challenges in healthcare collectively. The Interreg call focuses on fair access to digital health communication.

Interest mapping: Regional Innovation Valleys call for proposals under Horizon Europe
In anticipation of the launch of the “Implementing co-funded action plans for connected regional innovation valleys” HORIZON-EIE-2023-CONNECT-03-01 call for proposals on 17 May 2023, ERRIN opened a mapping of members’ interest in developing project proposals under this call, to facilitate consortium building. The European Partnership on Transforming Health and Care Systems (THCS) has launched its first Joint Transnational Call for proposals aiming to encourage the optimisation of patient care pathways. The Deadline for obligatory Intent to Apply submission is 23 May, with the Deadline for proposal submission being 13 June.
