Health
ERRIN’s Health Working Group (WG) supports members with early intelligence and regular updates about EU-level health policy-related issues, regulations, EU programmes and their funding opportunities. Creating opportunities for interregional cooperation in the Health area is one of the WG’s main objectives. The WG is also a vehicle for networking, profile raising and promoting good practices and projects among health stakeholders in the ERRIN regions.

European Beating Cancer Plan: 2 Years On
Organised by IRST - IRCCS, with the support of the Emilia Romagna Region, this event will assess the state of the European Beating Cancer Plan of the European Union, two years after its launch. Thanks to the outstanding speakers and panelists we will outline strategic priorities for national and regional decision-makers. The event will take place from 09:00-13:00 on 29 March.
INVITATION Regions4PerMed Final Conference
The Regions4PerMed Final conference is taking place in Brussels and online on 21-22 March. The Final Conference involves the participation of international experts including keynote speakers who will present successful examples of innovation in Personalised Medicine and its implementation in the healthcare ecosystem.

Express your interest in the 3rd Interreg Europe call via the ERRIN Project Development Tool
Interreg Europe's 3rd call for proposals, launched on 20 March, supports interregional cooperation projects addressing common regional development challenges. Organisations can use the ERRIN Project Development tool to express interest and find partners. The call is open until 7 June 2024.

Health InnoFacilitator project launches call for receiving tailored procurement coaching sessions
The EU-funded project Health InnoFacilitator invites public procurers operational in the provisioning of health and social care to apply for the Call for Coaching Sessions to receive advice to facilitate the launch of future tenders to procure innovative solutions. Coaching will be given on either "Advise public buyers on the formulation of their needs" or "Advise public buyers on the PPI process". The deadline for application is 29 February.

169 country actions in support of the New European Innovation Agenda
On 19 September 2023, the European Commission published the list of actions that Member States and Associated Countries to Horizon Europe are so far undertaking or planning to undertake in support of one or more of the five flagships of the New European Innovation Agenda, including Flagship 3 closely followed by ERRIN. 20 countries have so far reported 169 actions in total, with their scope ranging from regional, through national to European.

The European Commission has launched a study on mapping and evaluating the implementation of Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan. The aim of the study is to assess the state of play of Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan, identify further actions to support, coordinate and complement Member States’ efforts against cancer, and build a monitoring framework to assess the outcomes of Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan.
