The main objective of the ICT Work Group is to act as a platform to discuss and share information on ICTrelated initiatives and funding opportunities in relation to the European Commission’s policy priority “A Europe fit for the digital age”. Especially highlighting the regional dimension of the ICT-field, the WG aims to create opportunities for interregional cooperation in the field of ICT by linking with other areas and sectors such as smart cities, energy, transport, health or culture.

Joint ICT and CH&T WG: Understanding the European Data Space for Cultural Heritage and Cloud for Cultural Heritage

The ICT and CH&T WGs invite their members to the next meeting on Understanding the European Data Space for Cultural Heritage [and Cloud for Cultural Heritage TBC]. The meeting aims to provide members with a better understanding of [the Collaborative Cloud for Europe's cultural heritage and] the European data space for cultural heritage. The meeting will take place online on 27 April from 16:00-17:15.

TEHDAS workshop on health data altruism

The TEHDAS joint action invites stakeholders across Europe to participate in building recommendations on health data altruism. The workshop will take place on Thursday 27 April from 15.00-17.00 CEST. You can participate in Brussels at the Hungarian Permanent Representation to the European Union (address: Rue de Trèves 92, 1040 Bruxelles). The workshop will be followed by a reception to ensure the possibility of further discussion and networking. 

Sustainable Electronics & International Cooperation on Semiconductors – 26-28 April in Grenoble, France

The very first ICOS Workshop will be held on 26-28 April in Grenoble to gather an overview of the strategies of different leading countries in the field of semiconductors, of European and International roadmaps, and conduct an initial analysis of the gaps between EU activities and the most promising technologies highlighted in Roadmaps for possible future international collaborations – collaborations to be strengthened or to be proposed on topics of mutual interests.

5G for Smart Communities Launch Event

The European Commission is hosting an event on the 5G for Smart Communities Support Platform. This event will bring together interested stakeholders from mobile network operators, alternative operators, equipment manufacturers and public authorities, to share ideas and insights on ways to achieve Europe's Digital Decade targets for 2030.

AI and the role of the Public Sector - examples of AI in practice from West Sweden

The European Heritage Hub launches two new digital tools: Heritage Library and Policy Monitor

The European Heritage Hub is an EU-funded pilot project bringing together heritage stakeholders and initiatives across Europe to support the transition towards a more sustainable, digital and inclusive society. European Cancer Imaging Initiative launched

Earlier this week, the European Commission launched the European Cancer Imaging Initiative, part of Europe's Beating Cancer Plan. The initiative will support healthcare providers, research institutes and innovators in making the best use of innovative data-driven solutions for cancer treatment and care. The first version of the platform is expected to be released by the end of 2024, with the final release expected by the end of 2025

Final release of the DT4REGIONS platform out now

DT4REGIONS, a project in which ERRIN is a partner, has launched its final release of the DT4REGIONS platform. With the final release, all those interested in the digital transformation of the public sector can now submit related DT Stories and DT Solutions directly on the platform. At the heart of the project, these will serve to unlock experience sharing, mutual learning and connecting with the community of practitioners and experts across Europe.
