ICT
The main objective of the ICT Work Group is to act as a platform to discuss and share information on ICTrelated initiatives and funding opportunities in relation to the European Commission’s policy priority “A Europe fit for the digital age”. Especially highlighting the regional dimension of the ICT-field, the WG aims to create opportunities for interregional cooperation in the field of ICT by linking with other areas and sectors such as smart cities, energy, transport, health or culture.

Living-in.EU WG Meeting - Information session on EU initiatives related to monitoring and measuring digital transformation
The Monitoring and Measuring Working Group of Living-in.EU is organising its first meeting in 2024 on Friday 31 May 2024, from 11:00 to 13:00 (CEST). This event will be held online only and will be open to all interested participants. The meeting will tackle the existing initiatives and projects implemented at European, regional and local levels to measure and monitor digital transformation.
EHDS, for a Data-driven Health Transformation
Biocat, ScanBalt, the Council of European BioRegions and Health Cluster Portugal, the EDAH project consortium, and with the support of the Flemish Government, Sciensano and SITRA, are organising a conference “EHDS, for a data-driven health innovation” in the framework of the Belgium Presidency of the Council of the European Union. European Commission launches the Harnessing Talent Platform- Call for Working Group Participation
Deadline extended until 22 September! The European Commission has just launched the Harnessing Talent Platform (HTP), a centralised online hub providing relevant information, knowledge, and assistance to help EU regions dealing with demographic challenges to attract, develop and retain talent. A call is now open for stakeholders to join 4 Working Groups on Digital, Health, Research & Innovation and Territorial themes.
ERRIN Spring AGM 2023 – taking stock of the EU Missions
ERRIN’s Spring Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2023 took place on 22 June this year. As always, it brought together the large and dynamic community of member regions and cities. Following the format part with the update from the network, the main focus was the EU Missions, approached in two policy debates, on the support and implementation frameworks in Adaptation, Ocean and Waters and Soil Missions, and the governance innovation and the perspective on Cities and the Cancer Missions.

Local Digital Twins toolbox project launches survey
The European Commission has recently launched a project to “Co-design the Local Digital Twins (LDT) toolbox technical specifications for advancing the transformation of Smart Communities”. To support the design process, they have launched a survey to gather insights. The deadline for the survey is 30 June at 23:59 CEST.
5G for Smart Communities Support Platform Launches Insight Consultation for Third Call
In preparation for an upcoming call, the 5G for Smart Communities Support Platform is conducting a consultation to gather valuable insights and feedback from key stakeholders. The deadline for responses is 7 June 2023. All responses are anonymous and will contribute to identifying concrete 5G use cases for future application developments.

EU City Calculator: a learning programme to support public authorities in reaching climate neutrality
From 26 February 2024, all European cities will have the opportunity to enroll in the EUCityCalc project's learning programme to learn how to collect data and use the EU City Calculator tool, which is an open source online platform that allows local councils and other stakeholders to visualise and simulate low-carbon scenarios for their towns and cities, as well as to assess the trade-offs related to available choices.
