The main objective of the ICT Work Group is to act as a platform to discuss and share information on ICTrelated initiatives and funding opportunities in relation to the European Commission’s policy priority “A Europe fit for the digital age”. On 25 September 2025, Andreea Leru (North-East Romania Regional Development Agency) represented ERRIN at a meeting with international organisations and networks to discuss digital transformation in cultural heritage. The document highlights regional best practices, calls for federated data models, harmonised legal frameworks and reinforced investment to build a citizen-centred and sustainable AI ecosystem across Europe.

The ICT Working Group is seeking a new co-leader to join The Free State of Thuringia, Hauts-de-France, Brainport Eindhoven and Helsinki EU Office in shaping the group’s priorities in 2025 and beyond.
