The Science & Education for Society Working Group addresses topics related to the concept of place-based universities and engagement with society and citizens while also working on the role of education (both VET and Higher Education) in the Research and Innovation Smart Specialisation Strategies (RIS3) as well as education and skills for research and innovation. The Working Group facilitates information sharing, knowledge development, and aims to strengthen existing and build new relationships with the EU institutions. Facilitating project development is also part of the Working Group's scope. For this purpose, the Working Group assesses the interest of the membership for specific calls under Erasmus+ and support in the most efficient way the members in building consortia, primarily with the ERRIN online tool for project development.

The IDEAHL Consortium's first Policy Making Event: 'Building an IDEAHL Europe' is a High-Level Policymaking Event to Develop a European (Digital) Health Literacy Strategy and will take place in Brussels on 7 March.
This first SEFS WG meeting will kick off the European Year of Skills in the ERRIN network and is open to members of all Working Groups. ERRIN members will have an in-depth look at the Pact for Skills and we will learn about the state of play of this first flagship of the new European Skills Agenda. We will also discuss with the European Commission the regional dimension of the Pact for Skills, the Regional Skills Partnerships and showcase examples from the Lombardy Region and the European Chemical Regions Network.
World Expression Forum (WEXFO) is hosting a discussion about initiatives to strengthen youth’s participation in democracy on 23 February between 09:30-13:00. Beginning with a presentation of the EU's support of freedom of expression, democracy and human rights, as well as EU project opportunities, and continuing with an introduction to World Expression Forum and our activities, with a particular focus on our project Youth’s participation in Society. Yesterday the European Commission announced 75 new top experts who will advise on the five EU Missions through serving on their Boards. ERRIN is thrilled that Françoise Guaspare from Île-de-France Europe, one of the Transport Working Group leaders, will join the Mission Board of the Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities Mission.
In the 2022 edition of the Erasmus+ Project Development Workshop, hosted by ERRIN and its members, we invite project proposals within the Erasmus+ centralised actions in Key Action 2 focusing on building bridges between research, innovation and education.
The University of Angers is actively seeking for partners for a medium-scale cooperation Creative Europe project. The aim of this project is to involve young Europeans to create and co-produce new ideas of projected utopia. Through cultural and social diversity of historical or actual concrete utopias in Europe, the generation of new ideas will allow/induce new practices between young Europeans in term of cooperation, exchanges and experimentations. The productions will be valued in transnational immersive and inclusive digital supports, disseminated and promoted, in order to become cultural and creative levers to “make in another way”/ “make otherwise” and innovate in the Europe of tomorrow.
Dronninglund high school recently received the Erasmus+ accreditation. As a result, the school is now looking to find other schools interested in raising awareness of environmental issues, digital skills, international career learning, active citizenship, creative skills, and inclusion.
