Smart Cities
The objective of the Working Group is to act as a platform to offer early information on priorities and funding opportunities linked to Smart Cities, with a focus on the EU Mission on 100 climate-neutral and smart cities by 2030. The WG aims to facilitate sharing of experiences and support matchmaking to develop new partnerships and projects. The WG targets the smart city topic from an integrated and holistic approach, addressing issues such as citizen engagement, data-driven policy and smart governance models, while exploring synergies between the areas linked to smart cities as addressed by the ERRIN WGs on Energy and Climate Change, Transport and ICT.

Horizon Europe info days - Cluster 5
Horizon Europe info days - Cluster 5 (Climate, Energy & Mobility), will take place on 15 and 16 December. The info days will present the research and innovation topics proposed for 2023 under the Work Programme 2023-2024 of Horizon Europe Cluster 5.

The Horizon Europe Cluster 6 (Food, Bioeconomy, Natural resources, Agriculture and Environment) Info days about the Work Programme 2023 will be taking place online from 13-14 December.

ERRIN Autumn Annual General Meeting 2022
ERRIN's Autumn Annual General Meeting will be held this year on 8 December from 14:30-18:15 CET followed by networking drinks from 18:15 CET. In addition to discussing formal issues and offering an opportunity to network, the event will feature a working session around the European Year of Skills.

Lost in NEB? Examples, visions and the way forward
The ERRIN Bauhaus taskforce is organising an event on 29 November which aims to discuss the initiatives from different perspectives taking stock of what has been implemented so far, understanding the various links to get a clear, coherent picture, and exploring the next steps.

Handbook on implementation and adoption barriers of urban living labs developing nature-based solutions
Developing Urban Living Labs is a relatively novel approach in urban areas, and consequently, there are many challenges and barriers that cities face during ULL adoption. This handbook, developed by the UNaLab project, aims to identify and explore some common barriers to the adoption of Urban Living Labs, and provide cities with a tool and an understanding of how to strategically address these barriers.

ERRIN joins the NEB Alliance as a founding member
On 26 February 2024, the New European Bauhaus Alliance introduced its Manifesto in Amsterdam. This Manifesto aims to help society move towards strong, climate-positive cities and communities. It wants to bring together people from different fields like engineering, economics, facility management, marine biology, industry, artificial intelligence, and others.

Final release of the DT4REGIONS platform out now
DT4REGIONS, a project in which ERRIN is a partner, has launched its final release of the DT4REGIONS platform. With the final release, all those interested in the digital transformation of the public sector can now submit related DT Stories and DT Solutions directly on the platform. At the heart of the project, these will serve to unlock experience sharing, mutual learning and connecting with the community of practitioners and experts across Europe.

Smart Cities WG questionnaire: Impacts of the Cities Mission
