Transport
The Working Group promotes cooperation and facilitates dialogue between regions in the field of transport, mobility and logistics as well as with the EU institutions to raise awareness of the regional and local dimensions of the thematic areas. The group fosters discussion on new developments in EU policy and facilitates project development and participation in European projects.

Connecting Europe Days 2024
Co-organised by the European Commission and the upcoming Belgian Presidency of the Council of the EU, the Connecting Europe Days will take place in Brussels from 2-5 April 2024. This event will bring together key stakeholders to discuss measures for building a decarbonised, resilient, seamless and digital transport and mobility network in line with the EU Green Deal and the Sustainable and Smart Mobility Strategy.
Cities Mission: Experiences and lessons learned from the Climate City Contract process
The Smart Cities Working Group is inviting two cities that have successfully developed their Climate City Contracts to share their experiences and lessons learned from the process in its upcoming meeting on 25 March between 15:00-16:30 CET. The European Commission will provide an update on the state of play of the Cities Mission, focusing on the Climate City Contract process and the Mission Label.
European Research and Innovation Days (R&I Days) 2024
The European Commission’s annual flagship research and innovation event will take place on 20 and 21 March 2024, both physically in Brussels and online. The R&I Days 2024 will give you the opportunity to debate how we can make Europe more sustainable and competitive and will celebrate the outcomes and achievements in research and innovation since the launch of the first R&I Framework Programme over 40 years ago.

On the occasion of the European R&I Week, we would like to warmly invite you to a networking reception on 19 March from 18:00-20:30 at the ERRIN premises in Brussels (Rue du Luxembourg 3). ERRIN two-page input on FP10 for the attention of the Expert Group
As the work towards the next EU Framework Programme for R&I (FP10) continues, ERRIN is pleased to share its two-page input for the attention of the Expert Group on the interim evaluation of Horizon Europe. The document is a concise compilation of the reflections on FP10 done at ERRIN so far, highlighting topics of key importance. Work on a series of broader input papers is underway.
ERRIN is looking for a Head of projects - Extended Deadline
In view of the upcoming departure of ERRIN's current Director of projects, Ryan Titley, ERRIN is looking for a replacement to start in September 2024. The new colleague will work closely with the ERRIN Director on strategic planning, and lead the implementation and development of ERRIN's current and future project portfolio. CircularInvest helps cities and regions implement circular strategies by removing obstacles and closing the gap between circular economy project promoters and investors. A new CircularInvest call has been launched for project promotors who want to increase the investment readiness level of their local and regional circular economy projects. The deadline for applications is 13 September 2024.

The European Commission has launched new calls for proposals to support research and innovation for its five EU Missions and the New European Bauhaus (NEB). ERRIN encourages all members and their stakeholders to express interest in the EU Missions and NEB calls through the ERRIN Project Development Tool (PDT).
Feedback opportunity for Horizon Europe work programme 2025
The European Commission opened an opportunity to provide input for the development of the Horizon Europe ‘main’ work programme 2025. Submitted responses will contribute to the co-design of the work programme 2025, covering all six clusters, research infrastructures, European innovation ecosystems, the five EU Missions and the New European Bauhaus facility. The deadline for feedback is 6 May 2024 midday, CEST.

Rhine-Meuse Forum 2023: Call for abstracts Innovative projects in mobility and transport
Grand Est-Europe and the Representation of the State of Baden-Württemberg to the European Union are launching a call for abstracts for innovative projects in mobility and transports, in the framework of the Rhine-Meuse Forum to be held on 12 April 2023 in Brussels. A scientific poster session will offer the opportunity to project stakeholders to present their territorial or technological innovation actions carried out in the transport and mobility sectors. Adaptation Mission Charter numbers over 300
The final list of the EU Mission on Adaptation Charter signatories and Friends has been published. Over 300 entities are now part of the community of practice on adaptation to climate change launched on 26 January 2023 in Brussels. The launch of the Mission Implementation Platform MIP4Adapt is planned for April.

RECIPROCITY: Showcase your Mobility Solution
In the context of the project, ERRIN is collecting local innovative mobility cases to cluster and transfer knowledge and make it easy, digestible and replicable in other cities/regions.
