Design & Creativity
The Design & Creativity WG aims to raise awareness of design and creativity as tools and drivers for innovation in different sectors and across Europe. Our objectives are the following: To present challenges; especially in relation to sectors that do not yet work with design (thinking) and creativity; to showcase the importance of design & creativity through good examples and concrete cases; to create a strong and vital community among our stakeholders across Europe through a bottom-up approach; to connect designers, thinkers, business, policy and society interested in finding common solutions for different challenges and to create opportunities for the WG members to develop project proposals, share their ideas, stories and ongoing activities with the EU community.

Give new generations power, freedom and safety to express themselves
World Expression Forum (WEXFO) is hosting a discussion about initiatives to strengthen youth’s participation in democracy on 23 February between 09:30-13:00. Beginning with a presentation of the EU's support of freedom of expression, democracy and human rights, as well as EU project opportunities, and continuing with an introduction to World Expression Forum and our activities, with a particular focus on our project Youth’s participation in Society. The session will end with a networking lunch from 12:00.
SEFS WG Meeting: Kicking off the European Year of Skills in the ERRIN Network: State of play of the Pact for Skills and its regional dimension
This first SEFS WG meeting will kick off the European Year of Skills in the ERRIN network and is open to members of all Working Groups. ERRIN members will have an in-depth look at the Pact for Skills and we will learn about the state of play of this first flagship of the new European Skills Agenda. We will also discuss with the European Commission the regional dimension of the Pact for Skills, the Regional Skills Partnerships and showcase examples from the Lombardy Region and the European Chemical Regions Network.

Cultural Heritage & Tourism WG Meeting - Labels for Cultural Heritage and Tourism
The Cultural Heritage & Tourism WG invites its members to a meeting, on 15 February from 14:15-16:00, with Gabrielle Bernoville and Maria Castillo (DG EAC- Education, Youth, Sport and Culture/ Unit D2 Creative Europe) to learn more about available EU labels in the sector and discuss experiences and opportunities for potential applications in regional Research and Innovation.
NEB Stewardship Lab Launch Event
Metropolia University of Applied Sciences (Finland), together with other European coordinators, welcomes you to the online launch event of the New European Bauhaus Stewardship Lab on 7 February between 14:00-15:30. Call to join the Commission Expert Group on the Interim Evaluation of Horizon Europe
On 15 May, the European Commission's DG RTD launched a call for applications for the Commission Expert Group on the Interim Evaluation of Horizon Europe. The group shall gather 15 highly experienced members with the aim to provide the Commission with strategic recommendations to feed into the design of the next Framework Programme 2028-2034.

Puglia are searching for partners from Finland, Sweden and Norway for an INTERREG Europe call. The project proposal aims to build knowledge and to enhance public policies related to hybrid spaces for young people dedicated to creativity, culture and innovation.

The Creative Europe peer-learning scheme for cities and regions on cultural heritage, implemented by Eurocities, KEA, ERRIN, Europa Nostra, and the Architects Council of Europe presents now a digital toolbox, a catalogue of good practices and a thematic analysis as its outcomes.

Call for Participants - Cultural Heritage in Action Peer Learning Visit in Zaragoza
Cultural Heritage in Action, project in which ERRIN is partner, is organising a peer learning visit to Zaragoza from 26 to 28 October. The call for participants is open until 2 September for a visit to take place from 26-28 October 2022. Selected applicants (24 per visit) will be informed by the end of September. The Cultural Heritage in Action project is covering for participants’ travel and stay in Zaragoza.

Danish cinema looking for project partners - elementary schools and film schools for Erasmus+ cooperation
Danish cinema is leading Erasmus+ project application focusing on film education in elementary schools involving students og 8th-9th grade. Project will involve local business actors ( associations, sport clubs, small businesses, shops and cafés) and students will develop video commercials for the chosen business actor, learning skills on how to edit, cut, add sound to a video content and how to present the video project message.
