Health
ERRIN’s Health Working Group (WG) supports members with early intelligence and regular updates about EU-level health policy-related issues, regulations, EU programmes and their funding opportunities. Creating opportunities for interregional cooperation in the Health area is one of the WG’s main objectives. The WG is also a vehicle for networking, profile raising and promoting good practices and projects among health stakeholders in the ERRIN regions.

ERRIN Spring AGM 2024
ERRIN’s 2024 Spring Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on 20 June from 15:00 to 17:15 CEST, followed by networking drinks until 19:00. This year, the event will be held in person at Scotland House (Scotland Europa, Rdpt Robert Schuman 6, 1040 Bruxelles).
Digital health technologies supporting the self-management of chronic diseases: how to demonstrate evidence facilitating high acceptance and large-scale uptake in the reimbursement markets?
The large-scale uptake of Digital health technologies (DHT) including digital health applications will make significant contribution to a sustainable design of European health systems in the future. This webinar will focus on data collection and clinical trial design for chronic disease self-management. The event will take place online on 20 June, 14:00-15:30.
Training workshop: Making innovation work for society
The REINFORCING project will host a series of training workshops focused on enhancing innovation through co-creation. These workshops will cover identifying societal needs, methods for integrating co-creation into research and innovation, and developing skills for effective uptake and facilitation. The first workshop will be organised online on 18 June between 14:30-16:30 CET.
EU Cancer Mission - First project cluster policy webinar: Understanding Cancer
The first Mission Cancer project cluster policy webinar will explore how to work together to make better use of project results in the area of understanding cancer. This #EUHPP Live Webinar will bring together stakeholder and citizen perspectives on research and innovation, providing early exposure to the cluster projects launched under the Cancer Mission.
Let's stay in dialogue - practicing integration in the welfare systems
The dialogic approach is aimed at fostering a cultural change in how the organisation interacts with users, patients, and citizens, recognising the relational aspect as fundamental among all actors in the system. This event will be a chance to learn about and put into practice the dialogical approach. The event will take place online on 03 June, 14:00.

Violence Awareness Raising - from campaign to everyday practice (working title)
The city of Gothenburg has, for many years, worked towards the prevention of domestic violence. A topic of interest is for example notions of violence and threats as legitimate expressions of masculinity that should be actively counteracted in contexts that are particularly important in shaping the identity of boys and young men. Today, we know that the best way to prevent violence from occurring is to start with children and youths. VIVES searches partners for: Ensuring equal access to health care and fostering resilience of health systems
In this new Interreg NEW project we have the ambition to improve accessibility to health and care services in rural areas, in particular we will reach out to older people who are at risk of isolation after their spouse passed away. By offering technology, we want to help this target group in daily activities such as cooking. We want to reach out before difficulties arises. We will develop innovative care services and smart approaches to avoid extreme isolation and by consequence of this isolation health problems like malnutrition or home accidents like falls.

EU R&I community providing support for Ukrainian researchers
In the context of the Russian aggression against Ukraine and the ongoing war, members of the EU R&I community are mobilising efforts to support Ukrainian researchers. To engage and inspire, ERRIN members are encouraged to share information about their regional activities and initiatives in support of Ukraine's R&I ecosystem on the ERRIN website, using the tag ‘Solidarity with Ukraine’.

Partner search for Erasmus+ partnership on children living with disabilities
General Directorate of Social Assistance and Child Protection (Bacau/Romania) is looking for a partner to form a consortium with in order to apply for the Small Scale Partnership in Youth under Erasmus+. The project will include exchanges of experience between specialists from DGASPC Bacau and a more advanced partner to learn from international experts in the field of developing daily living skills for children with disabilities.

Governance structures to implement the EU Missions: check the new Mission Data Platform
A new Mission Data Platform has recently been launched by TRAMI, the EU-funded project focusing on transnational cooperation on the Mission-approach and effective implementation of the EU Missions.
