ERRIN’s Health Working Group (WG) supports members with early intelligence and regular updates about EU-level health policy-related issues, regulations, EU programmes and their funding opportunities. Creating opportunities for interregional cooperation in the Health area is one of the WG’s main objectives. The Commission has launched the largest public consultation ever held on the past, present and future of the European Research & Innovation Framework Programmes 2014-2027. Stakeholders are invited to share their views on the performance of Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe, as well as shaping the strategic orientations for the Horizon Europe Strategic Plan 2025-2027. The consultation will stay open for 12 weeks, closing in February 2023.
This project seeks to use art as a tool for communicating the reality of the anxious and depressed to create new pathways of understanding and empathy in its audience, as well as provide a comparative framework for understanding the differences between how European nations deal with anxiety and depression.

ERRIN is supporting the REINFORCING project in organising an interactive workshop aimed at exploring the challenges and needs faced by cities and regions regarding citizen engagement within the EU Missions. The project will support organisations financially with specific training, capacity-building sessions, mentoring opportunities and peer learning. The Health Working Group is hosting a joint meeting with the EUREGHA Cancer Working Group that will explore the role of Regions in the Cancer Mission. Regional examples will be presented, along with updates from the Cancer Mission Secretariat and the ECHoS National Cancer Misson Hubs project on regional engagement. The meeting will take place from 14:00-16:00 on 17 April 2024 at the ERRIN offices.
The Greater Copenhagen EU Office is hosting a workshop on 11 April entitled "Innovative Tools to Engage Older Adults in Managing Their Health.” as part of the SMILE Horizon 2020 project. The project supports older adults with severe health conditions in 'ageing in place.' Within living labs, they actively engage senior citizens, particularly those with COPD, dementia, or post-surgery, to comprehensively understand their unique needs and preferences for in-home care.
