Health
ERRIN’s Health Working Group (WG) supports members with early intelligence and regular updates about EU-level health policy-related issues, regulations, EU programmes and their funding opportunities. Creating opportunities for interregional cooperation in the Health area is one of the WG’s main objectives. The WG is also a vehicle for networking, profile raising and promoting good practices and projects among health stakeholders in the ERRIN regions.

Exploring Synergies between European Partnerships and EU Missions – Mutual Learning Event
ERRIN and the TRAMI project are organising a Mutual Learning Event (MLE) aiming to explore synergies between European Partnerships and EU Missions. The event will take place on Wednesday 7 February from 9:00 to 12:00 (CET) at the NCBR Brussels Office, Rue Belliard 40, Brussels.
Breakfast seminar on personalised medicine in practice – from a system to an individual perspective.
Stockholm Region EU Office is hosting a breakfast seminar on personalised medicine in collaboration with the University Alliance Stockholm Trio, EIT Health Scandinavia, Vinnova and Science for Life Laboratory at Karolinska Institute. The event will take place on 1 February, floor 5, Nordic house, Rue du Luxembourg 3.
Policy WG meeting: Kick-starting 2024: Towards R&I and cohesion policies post-2027
The Policy Working Group will kick off 2024 with a meeting offering the latest insights about the work at the EU level towards future R&I and cohesion policies post-2027, as some of ERRIN's priority focus areas for the coming years. The event will take place in person at the ERRIN premises on 30 January from 14:00-15:30, followed by networking coffee until 16:00.
European MetaCluster in Precision Medicine
MEDIC NEST Consortium is organising a conference dedicated to the launch of the MEDIC NEST European MetaCluster in Precision Medicine scheduled on January 24th in Brussels.
Health WG meeting: The 2024 EU Health Agenda
This Health WG meeting will provide an overview of the EU 2024 health agenda and a networking opportunity to start the year. The meeting will take place from 15:30-17:30 on 15 January 2024 at the ERRIN offices, Rue du Luxembourg 3 (8th floor), 1000 Brussels.

Partner search for Erasmus+ partnership on children living with disabilities
General Directorate of Social Assistance and Child Protection (Bacau/Romania) is looking for a partner to form a consortium with in order to apply for the Small Scale Partnership in Youth under Erasmus+. The project will include exchanges of experience between specialists from DGASPC Bacau and a more advanced partner to learn from international experts in the field of developing daily living skills for children with disabilities.
Governance structures to implement the EU Missions: check the new Mission Data Platform
A new Mission Data Platform has recently been launched by TRAMI, the EU-funded project focusing on transnational cooperation on the Mission-approach and effective implementation of the EU Missions. This tool supports and links with ERRIN's work on multi-level governance in the Cities Mission within the NetZeroCities project.
Aix-Marseille University looking for a partner specialised in virology under HORIZON-HLTH-2024-DISEASE-08-20
The project aims at developing biomolecules targeting the entry step of arboviruses, through an integrated research approach including virology, molecular virology, protein engineering, structural study (Xtallography and EM), in vitro screening and in vivo validation.
ERRIN welcomes new network Chairs
The ERRIN Management Board has appointed three co-chairs to the network. The three postholders will work together as a troika to guide the network in a collaborative manner in the period of 2024-2025.

Odense University Hospital search for Intereg call partners for Fair Access to Digital Health Communication
The research and innovation unit CIMT (Centre for Innovative Medical Technology) at Odense University Hospital in the Region of Southern Denmark is in search of an opportunity to join forces in a consortium to tackle the challenges in healthcare collectively. The Interreg call focuses on fair access to digital health communication.

ERRIN two-page input on FP10 for the attention of the Expert Group
As the work towards the next EU Framework Programme for R&I (FP10) continues, ERRIN is pleased to share its two-page input for the attention of the Expert Group on the interim evaluation of Horizon Europe. The document is a concise compilation of the reflections on FP10 done at ERRIN so far, highlighting topics of key importance. Work on a series of broader input papers is underway.

H-ARPA project proposes a healthcare model that integrates technological solutions to improve access, continuity of care, early detection of complications, and the quality of care for people with chronic diseases in rural settings
Rural areas face significant healthcare challenges. An aging population, a shortage of professionals, and geographic dispersion make it difficult to provide adequate care for chronic diseases. This leads to health inequalities between rural and urban populations and negatively impacts socioeconomic development. The H-ARPA project proposes a healthcare model that integrates technological solutions to improve access, continuity of care, early detection of complications, and the quality of care for people with chronic diseases in rural settings. The project will be supported by local healthcare stakeholders such as rural pharmacies and local entities.
