ICT
The main objective of the ICT Work Group is to act as a platform to discuss and share information on ICTrelated initiatives and funding opportunities in relation to the European Commission’s policy priority “A Europe fit for the digital age”. Especially highlighting the regional dimension of the ICT-field, the WG aims to create opportunities for interregional cooperation in the field of ICT by linking with other areas and sectors such as smart cities, energy, transport, health or culture.

EU Digital Health Tech & Innovation Conference
EU Digital Health Tech & Innovation Conference will take place in person on 27 September in Brussels. The objective of the conference is to present the latest EU policies, initiatives and trends in digital health, present funding opportunities for digital health projects, as well as showcase innovative business models from organizing countries.
CEF Digital Matchmaking: 5G for Smart Communities
On 20 September from 10:00-12:00 CEST, the European Commission is organising an online information and matchmaking event dedicated to the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) Digital programme's second call for proposals for ‘5G for Smart Communities’. The call is tentatively planned from mid-October 2022 to mid-February 2023.
Open Source Driving the European Digital Decade
The aim of the event is to raise awareness of the use of Open Source technologies with a special focus on the digitization of public administration (and the academic sector) and to start a discussion on the establishment of the so-called National Open Source Program Office (OSPO). This office (OSPO) would aim to help specifically the public (and academic) sector to introduce open innovation in public administration and to promote cooperation across the EU in this area.

Czech Presidency Conference on Synergies in the Research and Innovation Funding in Europe
As one of the first events in its programme, the Czech Presidency of the Council of the EU will organise a flagship conference "Synergies in the Research and Innovation Funding in Europe" on 7-8 July 2022 in Prague. The conference shall be held as a physical event, but following web streaming will be available. Pre-registration is obligatory.

ERRIN two-page input on FP10 for the attention of the Expert Group
As the work towards the next EU Framework Programme for R&I (FP10) continues, ERRIN is pleased to share its two-page input for the attention of the Expert Group on the interim evaluation of Horizon Europe. Rural areas face significant healthcare challenges. An aging population, a shortage of professionals, and geographic dispersion make it difficult to provide adequate care for chronic diseases. This leads to health inequalities between rural and urban populations and negatively impacts socioeconomic development. ERRIN is looking for a Head of projects - Extended Deadline
In view of the upcoming departure of ERRIN's current Director of projects, Ryan Titley, ERRIN is looking for a replacement to start in September 2024. The new colleague will work closely with the ERRIN Director on strategic planning, and lead the implementation and development of ERRIN's current and future project portfolio. Open call to support digitalisation of SMEs from Castilla y León through DIHs
The DIHnamic project opened a call for support for SMEs' digitalisation in collaboration with Digital Innovation Hubs. The call is addressed to SMEs from Castilla y León interested in improving their digitalisation status through the services provided by the DIHs.

SeniorForm - a new online exercise program for seniors owned by John Nørgaard from SonoKids Denmark and Viggo Steincke, Steincke Soundlab in partnership with attached a number of resource persons: Physiotherapists, nursing home managers, and health professionals. https://seniorform.dk/ SeniorForm is aimed at older people in their own homes, nursing homes and activity centers. The program helps to keep users self-sufficient by keeping the body supple. Hereby, Erasmus+ project through cross-collaboration with elderly nursing homes, health and education institutions, associations want to contribute to The HealthyLifestyle4All Initiative and create a cross-country platform supporting and promoting a healthy lifestyle, movement, and sport for the elderly in nursing homes.

First Work Programme for CEF Digital adopted
On 16 December the European Commission adopted the first Work Programme for the digital part of the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF Digital), defining the scope and aims of the EU-supported actions needed to improve Europe's digital connectivity infrastructures for 3 years. Over €1 billion will be dedicated to these actions in funding in 2021-2023.
