ICT
The main objective of the ICT Work Group is to act as a platform to discuss and share information on ICTrelated initiatives and funding opportunities in relation to the European Commission’s policy priority “A Europe fit for the digital age”. Especially highlighting the regional dimension of the ICT-field, the WG aims to create opportunities for interregional cooperation in the field of ICT by linking with other areas and sectors such as smart cities, energy, transport, health or culture.

EU Missions creating new markets: the crucial role of the triple helix collaboration
The TRAMI project, in collaboration with ERRIN, is organising a Mutual Learning Event exploring the role of industry, academia and public authorities in achieving the objectives of the five EU Missions through triple helix collaboration. This event offers a unique opportunity for industry, public authorities and academia to discuss how to intensify collaboration and joint action toward achieving the ambitious goals defined by the EU Missions. The event will take place on 17 May from 09:00-12:00.
PRECINCT Conference
The PRECINCT team would like to invite you to the PRECINCT conference to be held on the 16 and 17 May 2023 in Brussels. The conference aims to bring together policy-makers, academia, industry and other relevant Horizon2020 projects to discuss various topics including the protection of critical infrastructure from combined cyber-physical threats.

EU City Calculator: a learning programme to support public authorities in reaching climate neutrality
From 26 February 2024, all European cities will have the opportunity to enroll in the EUCityCalc project's learning programme to learn how to collect data and use the EU City Calculator tool, which is an open source online platform that allows local councils and other stakeholders to visualise and simulate low-carbon scenarios for their towns and cities, as well as to assess the trade-offs related to available choices.
Direction FP10 – rolling out ERRIN's activities in 2024
With the Commission proposal on the next EU Framework Programme for R&I (FP10) expected in mid-2025, this year will be key for setting the tone for further work on the topic and actively engaging in discussion. We are looking for a school/ university partner who has the relevance, expertise and the knowledge to engage in a project on VR journey - applying VR technology to visit different climate hotspots around the World in VR. Hereby to contribute to the STEM related interest in your school/university as part of the education under Erasmus+ KA2 small-scale project. The partner must have experiences in creating creative ed-tec with an emotional side to it, eg learning with the whole body. They must be progressive based preferably in the Nordic countries. Finland is highest priority, Sweden, Norway or perhaps Germany. Secondarily other locations like Barcelona, Netherlands, etc.

Call for regional examples: upcoming ICT WG meeting on DEP and TEFs
On April 21st, ERRIN’s ICT working group will be organizing its second meeting of the year. The meeting will look at key feature of the Digital Europe Programme: the ‘Common European Data Spaces’ and the ‘AI Testing and Experimentation Facilities’ (and the relationship between these two). We are looking for regional examples to be presented during the webinar.
