ICT
The main objective of the ICT Work Group is to act as a platform to discuss and share information on ICTrelated initiatives and funding opportunities in relation to the European Commission’s policy priority “A Europe fit for the digital age”. Especially highlighting the regional dimension of the ICT-field, the WG aims to create opportunities for interregional cooperation in the field of ICT by linking with other areas and sectors such as smart cities, energy, transport, health or culture.

EU Digital Health Tech & Innovation Conference will take place in person on 27 September in Brussels. CEF Digital Matchmaking: 5G for Smart Communities
On 20 September from 10:00-12:00 CEST, the European Commission is organising an online information and matchmaking event dedicated to the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) Digital programme's second call for proposals for ‘5G for Smart Communities’. The call is tentatively planned from mid-October 2022 to mid-February 2023.
Open Source Driving the European Digital Decade
The aim of the event is to raise awareness of the use of Open Source technologies with a special focus on the digitization of public administration (and the academic sector) and to start a discussion on the establishment of the so-called National Open Source Program Office (OSPO). This office (OSPO) would aim to help specifically the public (and academic) sector to introduce open innovation in public administration and to promote cooperation across the EU in this area.

The conference shall be held as a physical event, but following web streaming will be available. Pre-registration is obligatory.

Rural areas face significant healthcare challenges. An aging population, a shortage of professionals, and geographic dispersion make it difficult to provide adequate care for chronic diseases. This leads to health inequalities between rural and urban populations and negatively impacts socioeconomic development. ERRIN is looking for a Head of projects - Extended Deadline
In view of the upcoming departure of ERRIN's current Director of projects, Ryan Titley, ERRIN is looking for a replacement to start in September 2024. The new colleague will work closely with the ERRIN Director on strategic planning, and lead the implementation and development of ERRIN's current and future project portfolio. AI for the Managing Authorities of policy intruments
