Transport
The Working Group promotes cooperation and facilitates dialogue between regions in the field of transport, mobility and logistics as well as with the EU institutions to raise awareness of the regional and local dimensions of the thematic areas. The group fosters discussion on new developments in EU policy and facilitates project development and participation in European projects.

Regulatory sandboxes in the energy sector
The Energy and Climate Change Working Group is organising its upcoming meeting on regulatory sandboxes in the energy sector on Tuesday 12 December from 14:00 to 15:30 CET. The meeting will take place at ERRIN's office (Rue Luxembourg 3, 1000 Brussels) and will be accessible online for non-Brussels participants.
Creating Value in Mobility ecosystems
Coventry University & BOOSTERLabs, members of the Inno-Mob project consortium, are holding an online workshop, "Creating Value in French #Mobility Ecosystems," on 12 December 2023. The workshop will present the upcoming funding opportunities under Horizon Europe 2024 calls and will feature an interactive co-design session using the #EIT Value Creation Model.

ERRIN two-page input on FP10 for the attention of the Expert Group
As the work towards the next EU Framework Programme for R&I (FP10) continues, ERRIN is pleased to share its two-page input for the attention of the Expert Group on the interim evaluation of Horizon Europe. The document is a concise compilation of the reflections on FP10 done at ERRIN so far, highlighting topics of key importance. Work on a series of broader input papers is underway.
ERRIN is looking for a Head of projects - Extended Deadline
In view of the upcoming departure of ERRIN's current Director of projects, Ryan Titley, ERRIN is looking for a replacement to start in September 2024. The new colleague will work closely with the ERRIN Director on strategic planning, and lead the implementation and development of ERRIN's current and future project portfolio. A new CircularInvest call has been launched for project promotors who want to increase the investment readiness level of their local and regional circular economy projects. The deadline for applications is 13 September 2024.

The European Commission has launched new calls for proposals to support research and innovation for its five EU Missions and the New European Bauhaus (NEB). ERRIN encourages all members and their stakeholders to express interest in the EU Missions and NEB calls through the ERRIN Project Development Tool (PDT).
Feedback opportunity for Horizon Europe work programme 2025
The European Commission opened an opportunity to provide input for the development of the Horizon Europe ‘main’ work programme 2025. Submitted responses will contribute to the co-design of the work programme 2025, covering all six clusters, research infrastructures, European innovation ecosystems, the five EU Missions and the New European Bauhaus facility. The deadline for feedback is 6 May 2024 midday, CEST.

Erasmus+ 2022 Centres of Vocational Centres – search for partners in the automotive sector
UCRS’ (Educational-Center Ringkøbing-Skjern, Denmark) vision is to create a European Ecosystem of skills within green energy for vehicles by establishing a triangle of knowledge involving vocational education and training, auto industry partners (auto repair shops and vehicles manufacturers) and research partners. Our ambition is to identify and develop new partnerships within the automotive industry and stimulate the ecosystem of the industry, research and education to improve the flexibility of mechanics educations across Europe, and thereby support the successful roll-out of alternative fuels in the mobility sector for vehicles to the consumer.
