On 16 January, the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) published a call to support and help to foster the New European Bauhaus transformations. In June 2021, ERRIN's Blue Growth Working Group and the European Commission’s Mission Secretariat co-organised a dialogue on the participation of regional and local actors in the Mission Area: Healthy Oceans, Seas, Coastal and Inland Waters. ERRIN has produced a report on the dialogue including examples presented by ERRIN members and key messages on the role of regions in the Mission.
On 18 June ERRIN’s Blue Growth Working Group organised together with the Mission Starfish Secretariat a dialogue on the role of regions in area-based lighthouses anticipated in the Mission. Educational-Center Ringkøbing-Skjern's, Denmark (UCRS) vision is to create a European Ecosystem of skills within green energy for vehicles by establishing a triangle of knowledge involving vocational education and training, auto industry partners (auto repair shops and vehicles manufacturers) and research partners. Our ambition is to identify and develop a skill set to ensure the successful roll-out of alternative fuels in the mobility sector for vehicles to the consumer.
Feedback is sought on automated public transport obstacles in the European single market. The survey results will be used in the Sohjoa Last Mile research project and answers will be processed anonymously. The aim of the Sohjoa Last Mile project is to promote the development of autonomous public transport and improve the first and last mile passenger experience of urban transport in particular.
