The Working Group promotes cooperation and facilitates dialogue between regions in the field of transport, mobility and logistics as well as with the EU institutions to raise awareness of the regional and local dimensions of the thematic areas. The group fosters discussion on new developments in EU policy and facilitates project development and participation in European projects.

The European Committee of the Regions (CoR) is drafting an opinion "Towards an integrated EU policy approach to support place-based innovation for the green and digital transition". Sohjoa Last Mile Survey - the obstacles of automated public transport in the European Single Market
Feedback is sought on automated public transport obstacles in the European single market. The survey results will be used in the Sohjoa Last Mile research project and answers will be processed anonymously. The aim of the Sohjoa Last Mile project is to promote the development of autonomous public transport and improve the first and last mile passenger experience of urban transport in particular.
