Transport
The Working Group promotes cooperation and facilitates dialogue between regions in the field of transport, mobility and logistics as well as with the EU institutions to raise awareness of the regional and local dimensions of the thematic areas. The group fosters discussion on new developments in EU policy and facilitates project development and participation in European projects.

ERRIN dialogue with European Commission on the Starfish Mission
ERRIN and the European Commission are preparing for a dialogue on the role of regional and local actors in the Mission Area: Healthy Oceans, Seas, Coastal and Inland Waters. Members and their relevant stakeholders are invited to take part in the active discussion, which will include two breakout sessions focused on the 'area-based lighthouse demonstrators' described in the Mission proposal.
New Urban Mobility Initiative: Five consultation workshops for stakeholders in June
The European Commission is working on a new EU urban mobility framework to support Member States, regions and cities as they develop safe, accessible, inclusive, smart, resilient and zero-emission urban mobility. Within the framework of the consultation process on its new initiative, the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport is organising five consultation workshops on topics of interest for stakeholders and the public.

23 new Mission Cities awarded the Mission Label
During a dedicated session at the EU Research & Innovation Days, 23 new cities part of the EU Mission on 100 climate-neutral and smart cities were awarded the Mission Label for their plans to achieve climate neutrality by 2030. ERRIN is pleased to see that 15 cities are located in ERRIN member regions.
