Transport
The Working Group promotes cooperation and facilitates dialogue between regions in the field of transport, mobility and logistics as well as with the EU institutions to raise awareness of the regional and local dimensions of the thematic areas. The group fosters discussion on new developments in EU policy and facilitates project development and participation in European projects.

RECIPROCITY Workshop - From learning to replicating: Innovative Urban Air Mobility solutions
The RECIPROCITY project, in which ERRIN is a partner, is organising a workshop on 19 April from 13:30-15:30 on Innovative Air Mobility Solutions. Participants will get an update from the European Commission on the European Drone Strategy 2.0 and then focus on two innovative mobility use cases and projects from Helsinki (FI) and Coventry (UK). Attendees will also have the chance to discuss the possibility of replicating them in other cities.

Adaptation Mission Charter numbers over 300
The final list of the EU Mission on Adaptation Charter signatories and Friends has been published. Over 300 entities are now part of the community of practice on adaptation to climate change launched on 26 January 2023 in Brussels. The launch of the Mission Implementation Platform MIP4Adapt is planned for April.

EIT Urban Mobility is searching for partners; cities, regional policy-making authorities (public authorities and public law bodies), transport authorities and operators, academic and industry partners, and NGOs from across the Mediterranean Basin. The cooperation area is made up of the following countries: Cyprus, Egypt, France, Greece, Israel, Italy, Lebanon, Jordan, Malta, Palestine, Portugal, Spain, Tunisia, Algeria, and Turkey.

Open Call: New European Bauhaus Booster 2.0 – deadline 13 March
On 16 January, the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) published a call to support and help to foster the New European Bauhaus transformations. It targets European startups or scale-ups developing innovative solutions with deliberate consideration given to the NEB values. Successful applicants will be welcomed in the EIT Community NEB acceleration program that will be tailored to each company. The deadline for application is 13 March.

European Week of Regions and Cities
The 2024 edition of the European Week of Regions and Cities is taking place from 7-10 October in Brussels. Cities Mission – focus on sustainable urban mobility
Transport and Smart Cities WGs will organise a meeting on proposed mobility strategies in the Climate Cities Contracts and the measures needed to reduce emissions. Representatives from cities awarded with the EU Mission Label will present their best practices and insights into how they are taking steps to reduce mobility-related emissions and reach climate neutrality by 2030. The event will take place in Brussels on 10 September, 14:30 - 16:30. Workshop on regional policies to promote the adoption of innovation by public administrations
The EU project Prepare brings together four regions that are interacting with the local ecosystems to design novel policies that promote demand-driven co-creation for the benefit of local public services, SMEs and citizens. The aim is to help unlock the potential of innovation procurement to turn regional needs into opportunities. A workshop with thematic insights, resources and best practices will take place on 27 June from 9:00-12:30 in Brussels.
