Transport
The Working Group promotes cooperation and facilitates dialogue between regions in the field of transport, mobility and logistics as well as with the EU institutions to raise awareness of the regional and local dimensions of the thematic areas. The group fosters discussion on new developments in EU policy and facilitates project development and participation in European projects.

Czech Presidency Conference on Synergies in the Research and Innovation Funding in Europe
As one of the first events in its programme, the Czech Presidency of the Council of the EU will organise a flagship conference "Synergies in the Research and Innovation Funding in Europe" on 7-8 July 2022 in Prague. The conference shall be held as a physical event, but following web streaming will be available. Pre-registration is obligatory.
Reciprocity Project Webinar: Mobility as a Service (MaaS): Multimodality and Inclusion
The RECIPROCITY project, in which ERRIN is a partner, is organising a webinar on Mobility as a Service (MaaS). The webinar will be held on 27 June and it will be a great occasion to share exchanges on intermodality and inclusion of territories and users thanks to the evolution of MaaS.
ERRIN Spring Annual General Meeting 2022
ERRIN's Spring Annual General Meeting will be held this year on 23 June at 15:00-17:30 CEST followed by a networking cocktail from 18:00 CEST. In addition to discussing formal issues and offering an opportunity to network, the event will feature debates around the new European Innovation Agenda.
RECIPROCITY Mobility Mission – Paris
To stimulate peer-to-peer learning and exchange, RECIPROCITY will organise four Mobility Missions. A Mobility Mission is an expert site visit to lighthouse cities to experience pioneering mobility solutions first-hand and to learn about their implementation. It enables follower cities to learn from the experiences made in these pilot projects and to transfer this knowledge to their own replication projects.
Designing fruitful cooperation for shaping the New European Bauhaus
The Hauts-de-France Region, Lille Metropole, the Silesian Voivodship and the Region of Brussels capital are oganising the event "Designing fruitful cooperation for shaping the New European Bauhaus" in Brussels on 9 - 10 June during the NEB festival.

Third NetZeroCities call for Pilot Cities now open!
NetZeroCities has opened its third and final call for cities to join the two-year Pilot Cities Programme. The call is open only to Mission Cities who are not yet part of the Pilot Cities Programme. The deadline for applications is 18 March 2024.
Innovation Fund calls to drive net-zero technologies open until April 2024
With a budget of €4 billion, the Commission has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting innovative projects that contribute to the EU’s green transition goals. The Innovation Fund 2023 calls covering sectors including decarbonisation, hydrogen, cleantech manufacturing, and maritime and energy-intensive industries are open until 9 April 2024, 17:00 (CET).
Available support to regions in EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change
On 12 December 2023, the ERRIN Adaptation Task Force organised a hybrid event providing an overview of the available financial and technical support for regions and communities under the EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change. ERRIN end of year reception - 2023 Highlights
On 7 December, ERRIN celebrated the network’s achievements in 2023. Following an engaging meeting with leaders of our 15 Working Groups, all ERRIN members were invited to a cocktail reception featuring a keynote from Markus Schulte, Head of Cabinet of Iliana Ivanova, European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth. MOSAIC wraps up a successful co-creation journey with EU cities
In a dynamic two-day event held on 21 and 22 November, MOSAIC, project in which ERRIN is a partner, successfully hosted its final event 'Co-creation in EU Missions'. City representatives, European Commission policy officers, researchers, private sector representatives and co-creation experts converged to delve the immense potential of co-creation in addressing complex challenges, particularly those posed by the Horizon EU Missions. A look forward: Launching ERRIN reflections on regional dimension in R&I post-2027
Autumn 2023 marked the start of ERRIN’s targeted reflections on regional dimension in research and innovation in the new EU Multiannual Financial Framework post-2027, relating to the next EU Framework Programme for R&I (FP10) and future cohesion policy. The conference "The Port of Ravenna Logistic System: A Mediterranean Gateway to and from Europe" will take place on 23 April 2024 from 16.00 to 19.30 at the Emilia-Romagna Region EU Delegation in Brussels. The event aims to present the Port of Ravenna’s logistic system, its strategic network and commercial links, future development plans, and main logistic assets in the area. The conference will explore a rapidly expanding seaport hub and logistic facilities situated at the crossroads of two crucial EU TEN-T corridors - the Mediterranean and Baltic-Adriatic.

Policy WG meeting: Role of EU Missions in FP10

Co-creation and citizen engagement in EU Missions Workshop
ERRIN is supporting the REINFORCING project in organising an interactive workshop aimed at exploring the challenges and needs faced by cities and regions regarding citizen engagement within the EU Missions. The project will support organisations financially with specific training, capacity-building sessions, mentoring opportunities and peer learning. The workshop will be organised on 23 April between 11:30-13:00 at ERRIN’s office.

UnILiON Brokerage event on Horizon Europe Cluster 5 (Transport, Energy and Mobility)
This event is organised by Brussels liaison offices from the UnILiON network. UnILiON is an informal network of around 54 Brussels-based liaison offices that represent over 160 universities across Europe, as well as in the UK, Japan, and Norway. The event aims to build a platform for everyone, bringing stakeholders together to share ideas, knowledge, and expertise and find suitable partners for future consortia under the specific Horizon Europe calls in Cluster 5, focusing on Destinations 2 and 6.
