Transport
The Working Group promotes cooperation and facilitates dialogue between regions in the field of transport, mobility and logistics as well as with the EU institutions to raise awareness of the regional and local dimensions of the thematic areas. The group fosters discussion on new developments in EU policy and facilitates project development and participation in European projects.

The Transport WG is hosting a meeting where we will get an update on where we are with two of the European partnerships connected to mobility: CCAM and 2Zero. The event will take place on 24 April between 14:30 and 16:30. It will be hybrid, with in-person attendance at POLIS network offices.
RECIPROCITY Workshop - From learning to replicating: Innovative Urban Air Mobility solutions
The RECIPROCITY project, in which ERRIN is a partner, is organising a workshop on 19 April from 13:30-15:30 on Innovative Air Mobility Solutions. Participants will get an update from the European Commission on the European Drone Strategy 2.0 and then focus on two innovative mobility use cases and projects from Helsinki (FI) and Coventry (UK). Attendees will also have the chance to discuss the possibility of replicating them in other cities.
Forum Rhine-Meuse "Mobility in Europe: Which solutions to a sustainable and borderless transport?"
Co-organised by Grand Est-Europe and the Representation of the State of Baden-Württemberg to the EU, the Rhine-Meuse Forum 2023: "Mobility in Europe: Which solutions for sustainable and borderless transport" is taking place on 12 April.
RECIPROCITY Study visit: Mobility Mission in Linz (Austria)

Open Call: New European Bauhaus Booster 2.0 – deadline 13 March
On 16 January, the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) published a call to support and help to foster the New European Bauhaus transformations. It targets European startups or scale-ups developing innovative solutions with deliberate consideration given to the NEB values. Successful applicants will be welcomed in the EIT Community NEB acceleration program that will be tailored to each company. The deadline for application is 13 March.
Pathways2Resilience Project
The Pathways2Resilence project, launched earlier this week, will empower at least 100 regions and communities in designing pathways and innovation agendas to become climate resilient by 2030.

Interreg Europe: Energy efficiency in public transport - EIT Urban Mobility
EIT Urban Mobility is searching for partners, cities and regional policy-making authorities (public authorities and public law bodies) mainly from Central and Eastern Europe, but also from South, North and West Europe.
ERRIN and POLIS amendments to the TEN-T regulation
In October 2022, ERRIN-POLIS opinions on the revision of the TEN-T regulation have been shared with the TRAN Committee of the European Parliament. Both opinions aim to “strengthen urban nodes and innovation to enhance the capacity, sustainability, and competitiveness of European urban transport”.
Management Board elections 2022 – results
Between 3 and 17 October, ERRIN members could put forward their candidatures for this year’s ERRIN Management Board elections. Five new Management Board members were selected and approved at the Autumn Annual General Meeting on 8 December.

In the context of the project, ERRIN is collecting local innovative mobility cases to cluster and transfer knowledge and make it easy, digestible and replicable in other cities/regions. The catalogue will be published on the RECIPROCITY website, social media accounts, and on a matchmaking platform shared with other mobility projects to increase the visibility of innovative mobility solutions.
