ERRIN's DT4REGIONS project is organising a two-day conference, concluding and presenting the work undertaken in the first year of its duration and setting the stage for actions in the years to come.

The main objective of the event is to reinforce the DT4REGIONS community and to involve regions, cities and communities from across Europe, encouraging all of them to share and discuss their challenges with regard to services of public interest and common AI and Big Data solutions in the new DT4REGIONS platform.

The event will take place on 28 and 29 June 2022 in a hybrid mode; speakers and partners will be present on-site in Barcelona and registered participants will be able to join online.

Public authorities at the local, regional and national level, policymakers, private sector representatives or any interested citizens, as well as DT4REGIONS project partners and supporting organisations, are invited to participate and to reflect on a joint approach for improving the capacity and increasing knowledge on the digital transformation of European cities and regions.

This conference will provide a valuable opportunity to present, for the first time, the DT4REGIONS Platform in its first release, alongside panel discussions, interactive sessions and thematic workshops. A call for applications for a DT4REGIONS Award for the most innovative digital solution will also be presented.

DT4REGIONS aims to create a European Platform for Regions to enable AI and Big Data collective solutions. It will be a unique challenge-based innovation platform for the development of tools and services of public interest. Bringing together 14 partners and 13 supporting organisations from across Europe, the project has the real needs of a network of regions at its heart.
