Nine ERRIN members join the new cohort of Cities Mission Twin Cities
Nine cities from ERRIN member regions have been selected for the second cohort of the Cities Mission Twinning Learning Programme. These cities are part of a group of 19 selected for the 20-month programme, joining 40 Twin Cities from the first cohort.
The Twinning Learning Programme facilitates collaboration between Twin Cities and Pilot Cities, which share common goals and challenges in climate neutrality work. By pairing cities, the programme fosters the exchange of knowledge and best practices, supported by experts and practitioners from the NetZeroCities project, to accelerate their climate transition efforts.
Specifically designed for cities not yet involved in the EU Cities Mission, the programme provides significant support to cities already committed to achieving climate neutrality by 2050. This includes financial assistance for two in-person visits to their Pilot City and one hosted visit, all covered by the programme’s budget.
The selected Twin Cities from ERRIN member regions include:
Tønder – South Denmark Region
Kronoby – West Finland
Vaasa – West Finland
Eurométropole de Metz – Grand Est
Commune de Courcy – Grand Est
Amersfoort – Province of Utrecht
Poznan - Wielkopolska Region
Fuenlabrada – Region of Madrid
Sant Boi de Llobregat – Region of Catalonia
