Online consultation on Digital Europe Programme

The European Commission has opened a consultation on the draft Orientation of the first two years of its proposed Digital Europe programme. Inputs received through the consultation will help the Commission finalise the Orientations for Digital Europe. These will then shape the work programmes and calls for proposals for the programme’s first two years (2021-2022).

New partnership in the field of safe and sustainable mobility under the S3 Platform for Industrial Modernisation

A new partnership has been set up in the field of safe and sustainable mobility under the S3 Platform for Industrial Modernisation (S3P Industry). The partnership was developed by the ERRIN Members Île-de-France and Aragón Exterior (ES), Transport Working Group leading regions, together with Bavaria (DE).  ERRIN will facilitate the work of the partnership by involving other interested partners and by disseminating the results. Covenant of Mayors Twinning programme (Deadline: 28 September)

The call for a new edition of the twinning programme of the European Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy is open. The Covenant twinning programme offers cities, regions and provinces across Europe the opportunity to take part in twinning exchanges that aim to increase local authorities’ capacity and knowledge to mitigate and adapt to climate change. This new call enables European local and territorial authorities to participate in two types of exchanges, mentoring and peer-to-peer exchanges.
