Online consultation on Digital Europe Programme

The European Commission has opened a consultation on the draft Orientation of the first two years of its proposed Digital Europe programme. Inputs received through the consultation will help the Commission finalise the Orientations for Digital Europe. These will then shape the work programmes and calls for proposals for the programme’s first two years (2021-2022).

European Capital of Innovation 2019 announced

Last week at the Research and Innovation Days the Commission announced the European Capital of Innovation for 2019. The city of Nantes in north-west France was awarded the title, securing a €1 million prize funded by Horizon 2020.

Call to organise events as part of the 'EU Cluster Weeks 2018-2019' (Deadline: 29 March 2019)

  On November 20th the European Commission launched “EU Cluster weeks 2018-2019”, a campaign aimed at offering communication support to cluster events organised all around Europe before April 30th, 2019.

Call for individual experts: policy advisory service on knowledge transfer (EU-Latin America)

Technopolis Group will be delivering a Policy Advisory Exercise on behalf of the Government of Ecuador, as part of the EU-CELAC Policy Advisory Initiative for Research and Innovation (bilateral cooperation EU-CELAC). The aim of the exercise, will be to provide recommendations aimed at “strengthening knowledge transfer mechanisms to enable uptake of public research outputs by social actors” in the country.

EUSEW 2019: Applications for a session now open (Deadline: 29 January 2019)

  The call for contributions to host a session at the Policy Conference of the 14th edition of the EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) is now open. This year’s topic is "Shaping Europe’s energy future".
