NEB Task Force
The goal of the NEB Task Force is to follow up the EU level developments of the initiative as well as showcase activities carried out on the local level to demonstrate concrete examples and results and build momentum towards a stronger NEB initiative. One of the main objectives of the task force is to develop members' understanding of the NEB initiative and, consequently, their capacity to maximise their engagement with it, particularly engaging their local ecosystems and building new collaborations. As a NEB partner, ERRIN aims to strengthen the policy dialogue with the EU institutions, with the NEB Taks Force driven by the most active members in the NEB topic.

Empowering a Competitive Union: from InvestEU to the European Competitiveness Fund
On 12 May 2025, Brussels will host the 2nd InvestEU high-level event, focusing on the future European Competitiveness Fund and InvestEU's role in boosting innovation, decarbonisation and the social sector. The conference will open with a high-level session with Stéphane Séjourné, Executive Vice-President for Prosperity and Industrial Strategy, alongside other key figures, to outline the EU’s investment agenda.

The Enhance NEB 2025 call supports Connect NEB and Co-create NEB projects in scaling up or expanding. Open to EIT Community NEB partners from 2023 or 2024, applications require consortia of 2–4 partners. The Competitiveness Compass for the EU is out

Express your interest in the 2025 Horizon Europe CCI-related calls
ERRIN’s Culture and Creativity Cluster is planning a project development session on 20 May 2025 to support its members in building consortia on the upcoming Horizon Europe Cluster 2, 6 and NEB call for proposals. ERRIN encourages all members and their stakeholders to express interest in the calls through the ERRIN Project Development Tool. Based on the expressions of interest received in the coming month, we will choose the calls that the project development session will focus on.

Clean Industrial Deal: A new European roadmap for competitiveness and decarbonisation
On 26 February, the European Commission launched the Clean Industrial Deal, a major initiative aimed at strengthening European industry by combining climate action with competitiveness. Call for regional examples combatting climate change for protecting cultural heritage
For its first meeting of the 2025, the Cultural Heritage and Tourism Working Group is calling ERRIN members for good local and regional examples of fighting climate change in the field of cultural heritage. The examples will be presented at the WG meeting taking place in person on 30 April 2025, 10:00-12:00 at the ERRIN Office.

The Horizon Europe info days give prospective applicants and other stakeholders of EU research and innovation the opportunity to get information and ask questions about the main funding instruments ans processes of Horizon Europe.
