Health
ERRIN’s Health Working Group (WG) supports members with early intelligence and regular updates about EU-level health policy-related issues, regulations, EU programmes and their funding opportunities. Creating opportunities for interregional cooperation in the Health area is one of the WG’s main objectives. The WG is also a vehicle for networking, profile raising and promoting good practices and projects among health stakeholders in the ERRIN regions.

ERRIN Spring AGM 2024
ERRIN’s 2024 Spring Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on 20 June from 15:00 to 17:15 CEST, followed by networking drinks until 19:00. This year, the event will be held in person at Scotland House (Scotland Europa, Rdpt Robert Schuman 6, 1040 Bruxelles).
Digital health technologies supporting the self-management of chronic diseases: how to demonstrate evidence facilitating high acceptance and large-scale uptake in the reimbursement markets?
The large-scale uptake of Digital health technologies (DHT) including digital health applications will make significant contribution to a sustainable design of European health systems in the future. This webinar will focus on data collection and clinical trial design for chronic disease self-management. The event will take place online on 20 June, 14:00-15:30.
Training workshop: Making innovation work for society
The REINFORCING project will host a series of training workshops focused on enhancing innovation through co-creation. These workshops will cover identifying societal needs, methods for integrating co-creation into research and innovation, and developing skills for effective uptake and facilitation. The first workshop will be organised online on 18 June between 14:30-16:30 CET.
EU Cancer Mission - First project cluster policy webinar: Understanding Cancer
The first Mission Cancer project cluster policy webinar will explore how to work together to make better use of project results in the area of understanding cancer. This #EUHPP Live Webinar will bring together stakeholder and citizen perspectives on research and innovation, providing early exposure to the cluster projects launched under the Cancer Mission.
Let's stay in dialogue - practicing integration in the welfare systems
The dialogic approach is aimed at fostering a cultural change in how the organisation interacts with users, patients, and citizens, recognising the relational aspect as fundamental among all actors in the system. This event will be a chance to learn about and put into practice the dialogical approach. The event will take place online on 03 June, 14:00.

Shape ERRIN's agenda 2024 - Annual Member Survey
In view of the annual strategy workshops that we will organise with all the Working Group (WG) and Task Force (TF) leaders in the second half of November, all members are invited to provide input on priorities, topics, and activities that should be addressed in 2024. The input can be provided by 31 October 2023.
169 country actions in support of the New European Innovation Agenda
On 19 September 2023, the European Commission published the list of actions that Member States and Associated Countries to Horizon Europe are so far undertaking or planning to undertake in support of one or more of the five flagships of the New European Innovation Agenda, including Flagship 3 closely followed by ERRIN. 20 countries have so far reported 169 actions in total, with their scope ranging from regional, through national to European.

Every year ERRIN holds elections for the Management Board. Becoming a member of the Board offers a great opportunity to develop ERRIN further and strategically lead the network’s activities. You can put forward your candidature for this year’s elections until 5 October.
Open call for technical assistance: Harnessing talent, empower regions
Until 20 October 2023, 46 regions that have been identified as facing a sharp working-age population decline, in combination with a low and stagnating share of people with tertiary education and brain drain can apply for an open call for technical assistance under the Talent Booster Mechanism.

VITALISE EU Project's second Open Call for Transnational Access to services and infrastructure of Living Labs
VITALISE EU project on Harmonisation of Living Labs in the health domain for increasing access and promote joint research has launched it's second open call. This is a project that wants to open Living Labs infrastructures and services to a wide range of research actions and stakeholders that can benefit from such coordinated resources. Through the Transnational Access (TA) Programme, VITALISE project opens up 17 Living Lab Research Infrastructures located in 7 different countries to external researchers from multiple disciplines, so that they conduct their research studies for free.
